On behalf of the family we sadly announce the funeral arrangements for the late Bryan Hind, of Spennymoor.
A beloved partner of Susan, a dearly loved dad of Lisa and Christopher, father-in-law of Gemma, an adored grandad of Olivia and her partner Aaron, Harvey, Lexie and Rhys, a much loved brother of Ken and dear friend to many.
Would family and friends please meet at Durham Crematorium on Monday 21st September for a service at 2:00pm.
Bryan’s family have asked for bright colours to be worn to represent his bright and happy personality. All are welcome back to the KGH club, Spennymoor, for refreshments afterwards.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu would be welcome for The Great North Air Ambulance.

On behalf of the family we sadly announce the funeral arrangements for the late Pearl Bell (nee Joyce) of Woodham, formerly Ferryhill. A beloved wife of the late Ken. A much loved mam of Sally and mother in law of Ken. Devoted grandma to Emily, her husband Oliver, and grandson James. Pearl will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. On behalf of the family we sadly announce the funeral arrangements for the late Patrick Joseph Naughton (of Spennymoor formerly Consett) Died peacefully on the 16th August, 2026. A much loved husband of Fiona. A devoted step dad to Michael and Joe. A cherished brother, uncle and a good friend to many. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to 5 Acres Community Garden. Would friends and family please meet for a service at St. Charles’ Church, Tudhoe at 11am on Friday 11th September, followed by a private interment at Tudhoe Cemetery. On behalf of the family we sadly announce the funeral arrangements for Darren Ellis, of Spennymoor.
Suddenly on the 26th July aged 44 years. A much loved son of Diane Robinson, an adored brother of Fiona, a very special uncle of Courtney, Caitlin, Sophie, Jack and Felix and an amazing nephew and cousin to many.
Would family and friends please gather at St Paul’s Church, Spennymoor, on Thursday 20th August for a service at 11:45am. Darren’s family would welcome colourful clothing to be worn to celebrate his life.
