On behalf of the family we sadly announce the funeral arrangements for the late Mark (Billy) Beaumont (of Chilton). An adored fiancé of Angela. A much loved dad of Jamie, Lisa and father in law of Rebecca. A cherished son of Audrey and the late Brian. Loving brother of Beau and Julie. Devoted grandad to Jacob, Everly and Louis. Mark was also a much loved uncle to Bradley and Jordan, a nephew, cousin and friend to all. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to MacMillan Cancer. Would friends and family please meet for a service at Wear Valley Crematorium on Tuesday 23rd June 2026 at 11.30am. Everyone is welcome back to Chilton Club to celebrate Mark’s life. On behalf of the family, we sadly announce the funeral arrangements for the late Joan Ivy Galloway (Nee Roddam), of Oxford (formerly of Spennymoor). A much-loved mum, sister, nan, and nan-nan. Would family and friends please meet at Durham Crematorium on Monday 22nd June for a service at 1:00pm. The family encourage colorful clothing to be worn. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if so desired, to The Air Ambulance, a donation box will be provided at the crematorium.

June is Alzheimer's awareness month. To mark this Adam will be wearing a blue tie throughout June in honour of his dad and all others who are affected by the disease.

"I am doing this in dedication to my dad who was sadly diagnosed in 2021. He has been the best dad/father-in-law/granda/husband that we could have wished for.
As a family we are in this together and we all help the very best we can. I take comfort that dad is comfortable at home and he sees ourselves and his grandchildren on a daily basis. Many other people are in our situation and any help for families going through the same as ourselves will be greatly appreciated. As always, I will wear my 'forget me not' badge with pride'

On behalf of the family we sadly announce the funeral arrangements for the late Trevor Fulton (Of Chilton). A treasured and dearly loved brother to Moyra. A much loved uncle to Paul and Harley and a great uncle to Samantha, Isabelle, Ava, Robyn and Marshall. Trevor was dearly loved by all his family and friends and will be sadly missed. On behalf of the family, we sadly announce the funeral arrangements for the late Kathleen Richmond, of Spennymoor. Peacefully on 9th May 2026, surrounded by her loving family, aged 74 years. Kathleen, beloved daughter of the late Stephen and Maureen, a much loved sister of Stephen and Elaine, a treasured aunt and great aunt. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday 27th May 2026, 12:30pm at St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, Tudhoe. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if so desired, to the Bowes Lyon Unit at Lanchester Road Hospital. A donation box will be provided at the church.

A loving brother of Claire and uncle to all his nieces and nephews. An adored father of Joshua and a devoted partner of Danielle.

Andrew was dearly loved and adored by everyone that met him.
