Our direct cremations are £1350.
This price will not change and there are no hidden costs at all. It covers everything you need to have the simple send off that you wish for.

We use a local crematorium so you will know exactly where your loved one is being cremated. We also care for your loved one in our private chapel of rest where you can visit as much as you need to before the cremation takes place.

A simplified goodbye without losing the compassionate and dignified respect that everyone deserves 🕊️

Creating a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment for families has always been at the heart of what we do.

Many of you know and love our cosy communal area, which remains the heart of our home – a comfortable space where families can feel at ease during difficult times.

We are now pleased to offer an additional private family arranging room, designed for those who would prefer a quieter and more confidential setting.

This space can be used for:

• Making funeral arrangements
• Meeting with celebrants or officiants
• Discussing options with one of our experienced team members
• Spending private time together as a family

We understand that every family is different, and having a choice of spaces allows us to support you in the way that feels most comfortable for you.

Whether you choose the warmth of our communal area or the privacy of our new arranging room, you can be assured of the same compassionate care and support every step of the way.🕊️

LAWRENCE, Christopher

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Chris on 16th May, at St Cuthbert’s Hospice surrounded by his loving family.

Above all things Chris was a devoted family man, the adored husband of Sheila, a much-loved hero of a dad to Marie, Katie and Emma, and a treasured grandad to Owen, Layla, and Drew.

His warmth, kindness, and the unconditional love he had for his family will never be forgotten; Chris will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all his family and friends.

A celebration of Chris’s life will be held at St. Charles R.C. Church on Monday 1st June at 10:30am, followed by a gathering to share memories at The Green Tree, Tudhoe. All who knew Chris are warmly welcome.

Family flowers only please. At Chris’ request, donations instead can be made to St Cuthbert’s Hospice.
