The ultimate savoury tofu scramble! ♥️

If you’re looking for a plant-based breakfast that doesn’t spike blood sugar levels and actually keeps you full and energised, this combination is a complete game changer. Here is exactly why this bowl is a nutritional powerhouse:

♥️ The Power Base: Tofu cooked with miso and nutritional yeast creates a cheesy, savoury flavor while delivering a massive hit of complete plant based protein and energy boosting B vitamins.

♥️ The Bioavailability Hack: I added turmeric and black pepper together for a reason. Black pepper actually unlocks the anti-inflammatory powers of turmeric, making it way easier for your body to absorb.

♥️ Healthy Fats & Greens: Topped with avocado and a handful of seeds for those essential omega-3s and brain boosting fats. Plus, the fat from the avocado actually helps your body absorb all the vitamins in the spinach.

It is savory, creamy, packed with micronutrients, and honestly tastes amazing! 😋

Sweat potato and black bean burgers, a simple recipe from Nora Taylor a perfect lunch served with fresh salad, tomatoes and herbs (all picked fresh from the garden!)

I added some unflavoured, vegan protein powder to the oats to bump up the protein content, and topped with itsu crispy chilli oil.
Tasty 😋

This workshop combines the long-held poses of Yin yoga with self-massage techniques using props like balls and blocks to target and release tension in the fascia to enhance flexibility, mobility, and circulation while promoting relaxation and stress reduction.

Yin Yoga:
Focuses on holding floor-based poses for extended periods (2-5 minutes), targeting deep connective tissues like fascia and ligaments. This helps improve flexibility, joint mobility, and overall range of motion.

Myofascial Release:
Uses tools like balls and blocks to apply pressure to specific areas of tension in the muscles and fascia. This helps to hydrate the tissues, break up adhesions, and improve blood flow, leading to a feeling of deep release.

MyoYin:
By combining these two practices, we can experience a deeper release of tension in both the superficial and deep layers of fascia. The extended holds of Yin yoga allow for the fascia which can help alleviate muscle pain, improve posture, reduce the risk of injury, enhance circulation, and promote a sense of calm and relaxation.

Salad dressings can really make (or break) the meal and I am not a big lover of oily dressings, and also don’t like vinegary ones either!
This creamy tahini and garlic dressing really hits the spot and is just the right combination for me, full of healthy fats and lots of flavour, it was lovely on a warm salad of roasted butternut squash and cauliflower, kale, red cabbage, quinoa and lentils. I added tofu ‘steaks’ for a high protein, high fibre, nutrient packed lunch!

TAHINI & GARLIC DRESSING

* 4 tbsp tahini
* 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
* 4 tbsp boiled water
* ½tsp garlic powder
* (optional) 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
* (optional) 1 tsp miso paste

Mix everything together and add more water if needed.
