🌈 So… what actually happens when your child comes to coaching?

It isn’t sitting at a desk while I ask them lots of questions!

My sessions are relaxed, creative and tailored to the individual child.

Depending on what they need, we might explore:

🎨 Creative activities
💭 Thoughts and feelings
🌈 Emotional regulation
💪 Confidence and self-esteem
🧠 Mindset
🌱 Resilience
🛠️ Practical coping strategies
💬 Communication

Every child is different.

That’s why I don’t believe in a “one size fits all” approach.

We start where your child is and work from there.

💛 The aim isn’t to change who they are. It’s to help them understand themselves and feel more confident being who they are.

💛 To the parent who is quietly worrying about their child…

You’re not failing.

You’re not a bad parent.

And you don’t have to have all the answers.

Sometimes children need a little extra support outside of home.

Someone neutral.

Someone who listens without judgement.

Someone who can help them make sense of their emotions and discover their own strengths.

That’s what I’m here for.

🌈 Coaching Young Minds provides individualised 1:1 support for children and young people in a safe, creative and nurturing environment.

If something has been telling you that your child needs a little extra support, it’s okay to reach out.

📩 I’m happy to have a chat before you decide whether coaching is right for your child.

Please feel free to contact me by emailing me at [email protected] or send an enquiry over via the website www.zoeculliscoachingyoungminds.co.uk

🌈 What if behaviour isn’t the problem?

What if it’s the communication?

A child who refuses to get dressed might be overwhelmed.

A child who lashes out might be struggling to regulate.

A child who constantly says “I can’t” might have lost confidence.

A child who avoids schoolwork might be frightened of getting it wrong.

A child who seems angry all the time might actually be exhausted.

Instead of asking:

“How do I stop this behaviour?”

Sometimes we need to ask:

“What is this behaviour trying to tell me?”

That’s where understanding and connection can begin. 💛

At Coaching Young Minds, I help children develop the emotional understanding and practical coping strategies they need to navigate life’s challenges.

📩 Message me to discuss whether coaching could help your child, OR, if you would like to spend some time with me to understand what could be driving your child’s behaviour.

When ‘I don’t know’ really means ‘I can’t explain how I feel’.💭

How many times do you hear this from your child?

“How was your day?”

“I don’t know.”

“What happened?”

“I don’t know.”

“Why are you upset?”

“I DON’T KNOW!”

Sometimes “I don’t know” doesn’t mean they don’t want to talk.

They genuinely might not have the words to explain what they’re feeling.

Helping children recognise emotions, understand their body’s signals and find words for their experiences can make such a difference.

That’s something we can gently work on together through coaching. 💛

No pressure. No judgement. No expectation that they have to suddenly open up.

Just a safe space to explore what’s going on.

📩 If this sounds like your child, send me an email to [email protected] and let’s see how I can help you.
