We were delighted to welcome Geoff the Singing Cowboy back to Manor House recently for another fantastic afternoon of live entertainment.

It wasn’t long before the music had everyone smiling, singing along and getting up for a dance! Residents and staff alike joined in, creating a brilliant atmosphere throughout the home. 💃🕺

Live music is always a favourite at Manor House, bringing people together, lifting spirits and creating plenty of opportunities to have fun and make memories.

A huge thank you to Geoff for another wonderful performance – we loved having you back and can’t wait for the next one! 💙🎵

🩷 A very special celebration at Manor House 🩷

Recently at Manor House, residents and staff came together to hold a lovely baby shower for our wonderful Alaka.

With pink lemonade, delicious cakes and plenty of smiles, it was a beautiful opportunity for everyone to spend time together and share in such an exciting and special occasion.

Celebrations like these are an important part of life at Manor House, bringing our residents and team together and reflecting the wonderful sense of community within the home.

We loved celebrating with you, Alaka, and send you lots of love and very best wishes for the exciting journey ahead! 👶🩷✨

Recently, some of the residents and staff enjoyed a fantastic day out with the Enterprise Narrowboat Trust

The trip was a wonderful opportunity to relax, take in the beautiful scenery and spend quality time together. To make the day even more special, everyone tucked into a delicious fish and chip lunch while enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter and conversation throughout the day, making it a memorable outing for both residents and staff alike.

A big thank you to the Truman Enterprise Narrowboat Trust for such a lovely experience. We all had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting again in the future! 💙

Recently, some of the residents enjoyed a trip out to a local pub for a delicious lunch.

Getting out into the community is always something our residents look forward to, and this outing was no exception. Everyone enjoyed great food, good company and plenty of conversation, making it a wonderful opportunity to relax and spend quality time together.

These trips are about so much more than just a meal. They help maintain connections with the local community, encourage independence and create meaningful experiences that bring smiles long after the day is over.

We can't wait to see where our next adventure takes us! 😊

Recently, we were delighted to welcome Alex and George to Manor House for a fantastic comedy magic show.

Residents were treated to an afternoon full of incredible tricks, laughter and plenty of audience participation. The performance had everyone smiling, with lots of amazement as the magic unfolded before our eyes.

Entertainment like this is a wonderful way to bring people together, creating moments of joy, conversation and shared memories that continue long after the show has finished.

A big thank you to Alex and George for such an enjoyable visit. We loved every minute and hope to welcome you back again soon! 🎩🪄😊

Recently, residents at Manor House celebrated World Chocolate Day with a delicious chocolate tasting experience featuring treats from around the world.

Everyone enjoyed sampling a variety of different chocolates, comparing flavours and sharing their favourites. It was a lovely opportunity to try something new while sparking plenty of conversation and happy memories.

Food-themed activities like these are a wonderful way to engage the senses, encourage social interaction and, of course, indulge in a little well-deserved treat!

A very sweet day that was enjoyed by residents and staff alike. 😊🍬

We're delighted to share that our minibus is back on the road and ready to take our residents on many more adventures!

A huge thank you goes to Rob and Alison, family members of one of our residents, who kindly cleaned and repaired our minibus. Thanks to their generosity and hard work, it has now passed its MOT and is ready to get back to doing what it does best by helping our residents enjoy trips out in the community.

Days out are such an important part of life at Manor House, giving residents the opportunity to visit favourite places, enjoy new experiences and make wonderful memories together.

We are incredibly grateful to Rob and Alison for their kindness and support. Your generosity will make a real difference to the residents.

Now for the big question... where should our first trip be?

☀️ A perfect summer's day at Manor House 🍔🎶🍦

Recently, residents and staff on The Village at Manor House enjoyed a fantastic BBQ lunch together, making the most of the beautiful sunshine.

Everyone enjoyed delicious food, listened to music and spent quality time together outdoors, creating a wonderful atmosphere filled with laughter and conversation.

To top off the afternoon, everyone was treated to an ice cream lolly – the perfect way to cool down on a warm summer's day!

It was a lovely opportunity to relax, enjoy each other's company and make the most of the great weather. Days like these create special memories and are what life at Manor House is all about. 💙😊

🎭 A wonderful trip to Stafford Rangers 🎶

Recently, some of the residents enjoyed a fantastic trip to Stafford Rangers to watch two companies perform a selection of songs from the musicals.

The performance was full of energy, with plenty of familiar tunes that had everyone singing along and enjoying the show. It was a wonderful opportunity to get out into the community, enjoy some fantastic live entertainment and spend time together.

Days out like these are a great way to create happy memories, encourage social interaction and enjoy new experiences.

A wonderful afternoon that was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone! 😊🎤

Music is always a favourite at Manor House 🎶

One of our residents' favourite activities at Manor House is welcoming live singers into the home and recently we've enjoyed fantastic performances from both Becca Gee and Natalie Knight.

Their wonderful voices had everyone singing along, clapping to the music and even getting up for a dance. It was lovely to see residents and staff coming together to enjoy such uplifting afternoons filled with laughter and familiar songs.

Live music plays an important role in care home life, helping to spark memories, encourage social interaction and boost wellbeing. It's amazing how a favourite song can bring so much joy and create moments that everyone can share.

A big thank you to Becca and Natalie for bringing such wonderful entertainment to Manor House. We can't wait to welcome you back again soon! 💙😊
