Sun, Smiles & Finished projects..

We sun-dried the food props 🍽️ and safely delivered the last of the prop builds. 🙌

Ben finished his memorial project too. The tombstone has a clever hidden compartment on the back that holds up to 19 plaques – such a great idea.

We’ve also completed more Award Worthy Medals 🏅 and started work on a really cute kawaii-style wall art puzzle, and they are looking adorable already 🥰

Well done, everyone! You’ve all worked so hard and managed the heat.

It’s all coming together…

Today the schools came to collect their props, and it’s been brilliant seeing everything heading out ready for the big events.

We’ve still got a few things to complete today and tomorrow before our Friday 3:30pm drop-off deadline… It’s going to be busy, but I know we’ve got this. 🙌

Alongside all of that, there’s been lots of other amazing making happening in the workshop too. We’re so proud of everything everyone has been creating.

We’ve also had some bittersweet moments as we’ve said goodbye to some of our students who are moving on to college and other exciting new adventures.

Today has been another busy one..

We made a start on the jungle-themed “I’m an Eleven Year Old” backdrop…

Ben continued working on his fantastic memorial display celebrating some of the actors behind iconic film characters…

Chesney and Dave have been hard at work creating more digital artwork and designs.

Here’s a little look at what we’ve been doing over the last couple of days…

🌳 A woodland-themed birthday display for a very special little one’s 2nd birthday…

🥨 An Oktoberfest-inspired Pretzel Toss game, with oversized flying pretzels…

🧻 And a Mummy Mystery Challenge, where brave explorers reach into hidden chambers to discover what’s lurking inside… if they dare!

There’s still a few things to add before they’re complete, but we’ve had great fun bringing these ideas to life 😊

Keeping cool with Fans and Water Pistols…

Today we built our very own cardboard water pistols using recycled cardboard, a few extra bits, and a drinks bottle as the water tank. They looked brilliant, worked even better… and it’s safe to say that someone ended up getting soaked!
Everyone also made a hand-held fan to help keep cool in the warm weather. A fun morning of making, painting, and testing our creations!

What a fantastic session.. well done!

SWEET CREATIONS & BIG SMILES…

Today at Kids Club we made our very own cardboard candy dispensers that deliver the perfect portion of sweets every time. 😃

A fantastic session full of making, decorating, problem-solving and, of course, a few Skittles quality-control tests along the way

Medals, Monsters & Milestones…

Another brilliant week…

A huge well done to both of our Lilys, who were presented with special “Well Done” Award Worthy medals made by Trevor in recognition of all their hard work during their exams. We’re very proud of you both! 🏅👏

This week has also seen the start of some fantastic art toy-style monster creations, with lots of imagination already on show. We’ve continued work on our Award Worthy Medals project, and several personal projects are now getting close to the finish line too.

Lots of creativity, plenty of smiles, and another week packed with great achievements.
