Today, the world says goodbye to a woman who brought so much joy, kindness and music into our lives.

Dolly Parton has passed away at the age of 80, leaving behind a remarkable legacy that reaches far beyond her music. From Jolene and 9 to 5 to I Will Always Love You, her songs became part of the soundtrack to generations of lives. But perhaps even more special was the warmth, generosity and compassion she showed to others.

As funeral directors, we understand that when someone dies, we often remember them through the things that made them special — their voice, their smile, their words, and the memories their life leaves behind.

For millions around the world, Dolly will forever be remembered for her unmistakable voice, her sparkling personality and, above all, her huge heart.

☀️ The heat may be relentless, but grief doesn’t care if it’s hot.

When a loved one takes their final journey, there is no weather that can stop us from being there. Every step is taken with dignity, respect and love — upholding traditions that have been passed down through generations.

It is an honour to guide someone we love on their final journey. To walk beside them one last time, carrying them with the same care and respect we showed them in life.

Come rain or shine, through the heat and the cold, we will always be there. Because when it matters most, we don’t stop. 🤍

Rebecca and Emma had a fantastic time visiting The Horsefair Care Home in Rugeley, where the residents and team were embracing a brilliant Country & Western theme! 🌵🤠

We were delighted to donate a lovely hamper to help raise funds for the home and its wonderful residents. ❤️ Every little bit helps to support the fantastic work they do and create special moments for those who call The Horsefair home.
