Choosing flowers for a funeral doesn’t have to follow tradition — it can be something deeply personal, something that tells a story. 🌿

Not everyone was a “white lilies and roses” kind of person. Some people were sunflowers in a room full of neutrals — bright, bold, impossible to ignore. Others were wildflowers — gentle, free-spirited, and beautifully unstructured.

Today I was reminded that funeral flowers can be a reflection of a life, not just a loss. Think of their favourite colours, the places they loved, the seasons that suited them best. Maybe it’s lavender for calm, eucalyptus for strength, or even something unexpected like bright gerberas or dried arrangements that last beyond the day.

There’s something comforting in choosing flowers that feel like them — not just what’s expected.

Because in the end, it’s not about tradition… it’s about remembrance, personality, and love. 💛
