A message from Dr Baldock 🩺

After just over 10 years at Penkridge Medical Practice, Dr Baldock will be leaving the Practice at the end of August.

This has been a very difficult decision, but after more than a decade of caring for our patients and being part of the Practice team, Dr Baldock has decided to take a career break.

We would like to reassure patients that Dr Baldock is not moving to another GP Practice. Instead, she will be taking some well-deserved time away from general practice to consider the next chapter.

Dr Baldock would like to thank all patients for their trust, kindness and support over the past 10 years. It has been a privilege to care for so many individuals and families and to be part of the local community.

We wish Dr Baldock all the very best for her career break and whatever the future may hold. She will be greatly missed by patients and colleagues alike.

Thank you, Dr Baldock, for 10+ years of dedicated care.

In order to meet the requirements of the new GP contract, we have made alterations to our eConsult access times, which means eConsult will be available during our core opening hours of 8am-18.30pm.

We would like to make our patients aware of a free local Dementia awareness event "Understanding Dementia", organised by Visiting Angels Cannock

This friendly and informative session is designed to support individuals, families, and the wider community. Attendees will have the opportunity to:

▪️Meet others in similar situations
▪️Access local advice and support

Visiting Angels Cannock provides personalised home care and companionship services, supporting individuals to remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. Our caregivers are carefully matched to each client, and we take a relationship-led approach that focuses on dignity, respect, and quality of life — particularly for those living with dementia and their families.
