Join us at Limewood for a special Psychic Fayre, a day of spiritual insight, guidance and mystical wonders.

Taking place on Saturday 15th August, from 11am–3pm, we’ll have a wonderful selection of experiences to enjoy, including one-to-one readings with crystals by Psychic Artistry, alongside faith healing with Brenda and friends.

There will also be beautiful handmade crafts by Debbie to browse throughout the day.

Whether you’re curious to experience something new, interested in spiritual wellbeing or simply fancy coming along for a look around, we’d love to welcome you.

We were delighted to welcome the fabulous Northeast Producers Ltd back to Limewood for their wonderful performance of Memories Are Made of This.

Residents gathered together with friends and family to enjoy the show, singing along to classic songs from the timeless Calamity Jane. There were plenty of smiles as familiar music filled the room and brought everyone together.

Live performances like these are always so special, providing wonderful opportunities for reminiscence, connection and shared enjoyment with the people who matter most.

A huge thank you to the Northeast Producers for another fantastic performance. We loved every minute and already can’t wait to welcome the team back at Christmas! 🎄🎶✨

Recently, we were delighted to welcome Christine from Fitnniss for another energetic and enjoyable activity session.

Residents split into two teams for some friendly competition and took part in a variety of fun games. Everyone tested their aim by rolling balls towards targets and seeing who could knock down the skittles, before enjoying a quick game of football.

To round off the session, there was plenty of laughter during a lively game of dodgeball, with Lynsey and Libby bravely volunteering to be the targets! While the blue team may have just taken the victory, the green team kept them on their toes right until the very end.

It was an afternoon filled with smiles, encouragement and lots of laughter. A huge thank you to Christine for another fantastic session. We can't wait for the next one! 💙

Recently, we were delighted to welcome Jeff and his team back to Limewood for our regular church gathering.

During the service, we spent time reflecting on the importance of welcoming Jesus into our hearts and showing kindness and compassion to those around us. Residents enjoyed singing familiar hymns together before taking a quiet moment to remember loved ones and friends in our prayers.

For many of the residents, maintaining their faith is an important part of life and these gatherings provide comfort, connection and an opportunity to come together in a supportive and peaceful environment.

A heartfelt thank you to Jeff and his team for another meaningful visit. We always look forward to welcoming you back. 💙

There were lots of smiles at Limewood recently when the ice cream van paid us a visit!

Residents enjoyed choosing their favourite treats, with many opting for a classic 99 complete with a flake. It was the perfect way to cool down, enjoy the sunshine and spend time together.

Sometimes it's the simplest pleasures that bring the biggest smiles, and this was certainly one of those occasions. It was wonderful to see everyone chatting, laughing and making the most of a lovely summer's day.

We hope the ice cream man visits us again soon! 🍦💙

Recently, some of the residents enjoyed a lovely walk over to Elmwood for a very special animal encounter.

During the visit, everyone had the opportunity to meet and even hold Roger the cockerel and Bertha the impressive snake. Residents also got up close with a smaller snake and a friendly lizard, making for a memorable and exciting experience.

It was wonderful to see everyone embracing something a little different, with plenty of smiles, laughter and curiosity throughout the visit. Experiences like these provide great opportunities to stimulate the senses, build confidence and create lasting memories.

A huge thank you to everyone at Elmwood for making us feel so welcome. We had a fantastic time and can't wait for our next adventure! 💙

This week, we were delighted to welcome the lovely Josh from Fitnniss for another enjoyable exercise session.

Residents had a great time getting involved, moving at their own pace and encouraging one another throughout. These sessions are always a wonderful way to support mobility, strength and confidence, while giving everyone a positive boost.

Thank you to Josh for another fantastic session – we’re already looking forward to the next one! 💙

Last night, the residents gathered in The Picture House cinema to cheer on England together.

With our flags proudly waving and plenty of tasty snacks at the ready, everyone settled in to enjoy the match and soak up the atmosphere. There was lots of excitement and cheering as we supported the Three Lions together.

Although the result wasn't quite what we had hoped for, it certainly didn't spoil the evening. Sharing moments like these, celebrating our team and enjoying each other's company is what it's all about.

There's always next time... Come on England! 🏴⚽💙

After all the hard work the residents put into refreshing our gardens, it's been wonderful to see everyone enjoying the beautiful outdoor spaces they've helped create.

From relaxing amongst the colourful flowers to spending time chatting with friends and enjoying the fresh air, our gardens have become the perfect place to unwind during the recent sunny weather.

The hanging baskets are brightening the front of the home, the sensory garden is flourishing and our new planting is beginning to bloom. It's lovely to see the outdoor spaces coming to life and being enjoyed by everyone.

On the warmer days, we've been making the most of the cooler, shaded areas, keeping well hydrated and taking time to appreciate the peaceful surroundings.

It's incredibly rewarding to see residents taking pride in the garden they helped design and create. Watching it grow and flourish makes all the planting, potting and teamwork worthwhile. Here's to enjoying our beautiful garden all summer long! 🌸💚

We've been very busy at Limewood giving our gardens a wonderful refresh and the residents have been involved every step of the way.

Together, we looked online for inspiration and enjoyed a shopping trip to choose everything we wanted for our outdoor spaces. We added two new potting tables, two raised flower planters, a beautiful lemon conifer and a fragrant lemon bush for our sensory garden. We also planted colourful flowers in our new tubs, created two beautiful hanging baskets for the front of the home and chose decorative flower balls to brighten our garden arches.

There was plenty of planting, potting and teamwork throughout the day, with a hydration station and ice lollies on hand to help everyone stay cool in the warm weather.

It was wonderful to see residents coming together as a community to create an outdoor space that everyone can enjoy. Not only have we added lots of colour and life to our gardens, but we've also created a place where residents can relax, socialise and take pride in the place they call home.

A fantastic team effort by everyone involved, we can't wait to watch everything bloom! 🌼💚
