One simple practice that's helped me when emotions feel overwhelming... 🌿

The next time you notice a powerful urge or emotion...

Don't rush to react. ✨

Instead, choose one object nearby.

🕯️ A candle.
🍃 A leaf.
🪨 A stone.
☕ A cup.

Spend a few minutes giving it your complete attention.

That small pause can create enough space to respond with awareness instead of reacting automatically. 🤍

Sometimes I remind myself of one simple thought... 🌿

Life isn't punishing us.

Sometimes it's just peeling away another layer 🧅

Old fears.
Old beliefs.
Old versions of ourselves.

Trust the process. ✨

The difficult seasons don't last forever. 🤍

One thing that's helped me through difficult seasons is remembering this... 🌱

Life isn't always punishing us.

Sometimes it's teaching us.

Sometimes it's gently peeling away parts of who we thought we were 🧅

Old fears.
Old habits.
Old beliefs.

Not to leave us with less... ✨

but to reveal more of who we really are. 🤍

Whenever life feels heavy now, I remind myself...

*"Maybe this is just another layer coming off."*

That thought helps me stay grounded 🌿

And trust that this season won't last forever.

One of the biggest lessons I've been learning recently is this... 🌿

Most of us were never really taught how to sit with difficult emotions.

Instead, we distract ourselves.

We stay busy.
We scroll 📱
We eat 🍕
We work.
We avoid.

Not because there's something wrong with us...

but because that's what we've learned. ✨

What I've found is that healing often begins when we stop running.

The next time you notice a heavy emotion arise...

instead of pushing it away, try sitting with it.

Place your hand where you feel it 🤍

Breathe.

Give it your attention without trying to change it.

You might be surprised what happens when you stop fighting what's already there. 🌱

How do you stop overthinking? 🤔

A thought came to me recently while walking through the forest 🌲

Imagine your thoughts are like robbers.

Your body is the house 🏡

And these robbers are constantly trying to break in and steal something from you...

Your peace.
Your presence.
Your joy.

If you knew robbers were coming in the middle of the night, you'd stay awake and keep watch 🔦

It's the same with your mind.

Not every thought deserves your attention.

Some thoughts are simply passing through.

Watch them.
Notice them.
But don't let them rob you of this moment 🌿✨

Today's message - How can we feel more happiness in our lives if we don't already feel it? 🤔

Something I've been learning recently is that gratitude isn't something we wait to feel...

It's something we practice. 🌿

The more we consciously notice what we already have 🙏, the more our minds start looking for abundance instead of lack.

And over time, something shifts.

You feel lighter.
More present.
More appreciative of life.

Not because life became perfect...

but because you started paying attention to what was already there. ✨

Something I’ve been reflecting on recently…

how much of life is shaped by what we constantly feed 🧠

Not just physically…
but mentally.

For me, two things stood out — food and lust.

And when I started becoming more aware of both… not perfect, just aware… ✨

something began to change 🌿

More clarity
More calm
More control

I recently did a 36-hour fast, and what surprised me most wasn’t the difficulty…

it was the stillness that came after 🙏

It made me realise that sometimes we don’t need more in life…

we need space.

Space from constant impulses
Space from reacting all the time

And in that space… things become clearer.

Something simple I’ve been doing in the mornings recently…

Before I check my phone 📱
before messages
before anything

I just stay still for a few minutes.

Hand on my chest 🤍
and I take a moment to notice what’s already here. ✨

My body working
My breath
The people in my life

Even the simple things around me.

And it sounds small…

but it changes something 🧠

Because instead of starting the day feeling like I need more…

it feels like I already have a lot 🌿

And that feeling carries into everything else.

Nothing complicated.

Just awareness.
