I have had just one experience that I think could have been a time slip event. It was back in 1991 about August & I had recently had a baby girl. One beautiful sunny day in late August that year,my daughter was about 3 months old & I thought I would put her in her pram & go for a sunny walk. We were living in Worthing in West Sussex & I decided to walk to the town centre & then on to the seafront & stroll along the prom. I walked along South street & started waiting to cross the road to the prom,I crossed over & the sunny day suddenly seemed to have got a lot darker,then I realised that the people on the pier & walking along near it were dressed in Edwardian clothes...cars were very early Motor cars & horses & carriages too.The whole atmosphere had changed,two identical young men of about 20 or so years I would say,both dressed in Edwardian style shirts & trousers & wearing straw Boater type hats started waving at me & ran towards me...this startled me a bit,they each grabbed hold of one side of my daughters pram handle & said what a beautiful baby you have! Then they started walking faster & faster & I was still holding onto the pram handle & had to run to keep up,I was really afraid now as they seemed to be trying to take my baby away.I saw some elderly ladies sitting on benches & managed to steer the pram towards them shouting out help me please! In the end I screamed at the young men to leave my baby alone & I swore at them,then they finally ran off & suddenly everything went back to normal & I was back in 1991.One of the elderly ladies asked me if I was o,k,I said I am now did you see those men & how they were dressed & what they did? Yes she said we saw it all & honestly don`t know what was happening.She offered me her seat & went to get me a cup of tea from the kiosk by the pier. The ladies & I were all shaken up & really puzzled by what had happened. This event really did happen to me & I have never really spoken about it before for fear of being thought insane! I didn`t even tell my then husband about it when I got home.I often think about it though & wonder what on earth happened that day,since I joined this group I have to realise it could have been a time slip possibly.
