🐾 Happy National Bulldog Day! 🐾

Today we're celebrating one of the most important members of the Elite Funeral Services team... although we're not entirely sure he knows he's part of the team! 💜

Meet Doyle, our very own untrained therapy dog.

While he doesn't hold any official qualifications, Doyle has a remarkable talent for knowing exactly when someone needs a little comfort, a smile, or simply a friendly face.

Whether he's greeting visitors, supervising the office from his favourite spot, or accepting fuss and treats as payment for his services, Doyle brings warmth and companionship to our days.

In a profession where families often visit us during some of life's most difficult moments, it's amazing how much comfort can come from a wagging tail, a squishy face and a bulldog who thinks everyone is his best friend.

So today, we're giving a special shout-out to Doyle and all the bulldogs out there who make life that little bit brighter.

At Elite Funeral Services, we believe that every farewell should be as unique and personal as the life being remembered.

In recent years, engraved coffins have become widely available across the funeral industry. While they can still be a lovely tribute, they are now something many providers offer as standard. Because of this, we wanted to ensure that families we care for still have the opportunity to create something truly personal and meaningful.

That’s why we offer fully personalised coffin liner suites at no extra cost.

The inside of the coffin is a very personal space, and we believe it should reflect the individuality, passions, and personality of your loved one. Whether you would prefer a favourite colour, a particular pattern, or something that tells a story about the person you are saying goodbye to, we will do everything we can to make it happen.

Over the last 2 years we have created many unique and heartfelt designs. Some families have chosen delicate patterns such as butterflies, while others have opted for more personal themes such as army print to reflect a military background. We have also produced Burberry-style tartan designs, liners featuring beloved border collie dogs, and even bespoke suites created using family photographs — turning precious memories into a lasting tribute.

All of our liner suites are carefully fitted in-house by Sam, ensuring every detail is completed with the care, dignity, and attention each family deserves.

For us, it’s about giving families the freedom to create something that feels right for them and for the person they love. Personal touches like these can bring comfort during a difficult time, helping families feel that the farewell truly represents the life, character, and story of someone special.
