When I walked away from a 20-year career in IT operations management most people thought I was mad.
But for 20 years, while I was climbing the corporate ladder, my body was falling apart. IBS that controlled my life, migraines that terrified me and chest infections. I always panicked that a migraine would hit mid-presentation.

My doctor’s answer was always the same: more pills. All the symptoms , all the drugs and never asked why this was happening to me.

One day I said enough, made changes to my diet and lifestyle and the asthma improved literally overnight. I retrained as a naturopathic nutritionist and finally found my true passion and purpose.

It’s never too late to change direction, especially when your body is telling you it’s time.

Comment YES if you’ve ever considered a career change but worried it was “too late.” 💛

Your body sends you tiny messages every single day in the way of symptoms, signs, little signals most of us learn to ignore. It’s constantly communicating with you.
When you start noticing these things, you can shift small habits, reduce symptoms and actually start feeling better. Making small, consistent changes is easy and it’s powerful.

I teach everyone I work with 5 simple foundations that make a big difference.

So many celebs are endorsing food intolerance tests and it pi**es me off as this can be damaging. Cutting out entire food groups is not sensible as you lose essential nutrients. Understanding the real causes of your reactions is key. You take a test and cut a load of stuff out which reduces your symptoms but the REAL issue is still there. It could be causing other damage that you are not aware of.

Be cautious before you dive in to these celeb endorsed products and do your own research or send me a DM and we’ll chat 💚

As a 50 year old Naturopathic Nutritionist I know first hand how menopause can hit you like a train. From my own experience and working with others I know what works and what doesn’t.

With all clients I work with (that have various issues not just menopause) there is a common theme and that is that they all need to put similar foundations in place.

Food matters a lot but is never just the whole picture.

What you eat shapes how your body functions, how well you absorb nutrients, how clearly you think. But the body takes in far more than food.

The quality of your sleep and the way you handle stress. Your emotions and thoughts you repeat to yourself all matter.

The gut and the brain are in constant conversation. What affects one affects the other. The work I do never starts and ends on the plate.

If you’ve typed all your symptoms into AI and come out with a list of things to do, this is for you.

Yes AI can process information but it CANNOT sit across from you and read what you are not saying with body language. It can’t use years of clinical experience to connect dots that an algorithm hasn’t been programmed to connect.

Instead of using AI , speak to a real person who can connect the dots and look at you as a whole. That is me 💚

Cutting out complete food groups should never be a long term thing. It can be helpful temporarily as a way of testing intolerance or giving the body a break while deeper work is done. The key to balance is introducing more of what your body really needs. When people work with me I teach them to understand what their body actually needs.

If you suspect an allergy go to your GP for testing and advice. There is no test that is accurate for food intolerance so don’t waste your money. A true test for food intolerance is a slow process of temporary removal and reintroduction of foods slowly whilst monitoring symptoms.
