Today we say goodbye to someone who has been a huge part of the Hassengate family for the past 18 years.

Diana, thank you for your unwavering dedication, kindness and hard work. Over nearly two decades you have supported countless patients and colleagues with a listening ear and a caring heart. Your commitment to Hassengate has never gone unnoticed, and your impact on the practice will be felt for many years to come.

While we are incredibly sad to see you retire, we are so excited for this next chapter of your life. You have more than earned the opportunity to relax, make wonderful memories and enjoy every moment with your family and friends.

From everyone at Hassengate Medical Centre, thank you for everything you have done. It has been a privilege to work alongside you, and you will be truly missed.

💙A huge thank you to everyone who attended and donated today. Together, we raised an amazing £1,348.38 for St Luke’s Hospice! Your generosity and support mean so much, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make today such a success. Thank you! 💙

We have just been made aware that some people are only now receiving messages about today’s event.

We sincerely apologise for this. All event messages were sent on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week, so we are currently investigating why there has been a delay in delivery.

We will be contacting our text messaging provider to find out what happened. We are very sorry for any inconvenience or confusion this has caused, and we appreciate your understanding.

We would also like to reassure everyone that today’s event was widely promoted across a number of channels. It has been advertised daily on the Hassengate page for the past three weeks, shared regularly on local community pages, displayed on a banner outside the building for the last two weeks, and promoted through posters in many local shops.

Whilst we completely understand how frustrating it is for those who did not receive their text message in time, this appears to have been a technical issue beyond our control.

We also want to recognise the incredible effort that went into making today such a success. The event was made possible by the hard work and dedication of our staff, their families and friends, and all of the organisations and services that gave up their time to volunteer and support the day. We would not want this technical error to take anything away from their commitment or from what was an amazing community event.

Today was always intended to be about bringing our community together, helping people discover the wide range of services available to them, and creating opportunities for people to connect, learn, and support one another. We would like to thank everyone who attended and everyone who helped make the event such a positive experience.
