What could change when you learn to listen inward?
Focusing isn't about finding the “right” answer or trying to change what you feel.
It’s about learning to slow down, notice what is happening within you, and meeting your experience with gentle curiosity and compassion.
And when we begin to listen differently, our relationship with ourselves can begin to shift.
You may discover:
✨ Deeper self-awareness — noticing more of what is happening within you.
〰️ Greater emotional steadiness — creating space between what you feel and how you respond.
🌱 More compassionate self-understanding — meeting your inner experience with greater kindness and curiosity.
◎ Greater presence in your relationships and therapeutic work — becoming more aware yourself while remaining present with another.
Focusing invites us to become curious about what is already there, rather than trying to analyse, fix or push it away.
Sometimes, change begins simply by learning how to listen.
In the next post, I will talk about my three-part workshop series where you can begin exploring Focusing for yourself.
