Mountfitchet House is a purpose-built care home set within the Essex countryside. The skilled and dedicated team delivers residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care and sensitive end of life care. Located in a small village near Stansted, the home has great links to major motorways and a regular train service to London and Cambridge. The home is divided into four su

ites that create a 'home within a home' and has excellent facilities, such as a cinema room, pub, hair salon and café. The team strives to ensure residents continue to lead fulfilling and enjoyable lives by getting to know each resident as an individual, so every aspect of their care can be tailored to their unique needs and tastes.

Last but certainly not least, we crowned this year's Prom King and Queen! 👑

A huge congratulations to our resident winners, Ronald and Pauline, who took home the crowns, and to our staff winners, Lyju, Deputy Manager, and Alex, Lifestyle Lead 🎉

And of course, we couldn't forget our very own Prom Princess, Willow 👸🏼

Mountfitchet House Prom Night - Part 2 🕺🏼

We continued the celebrations into the night, enjoying delicious food prepared by our fantastic kitchen team. A huge thank you to our wonderful Head Chef, Bev, and her team for serving up such incredible food. It was absolutely delicious and enjoyed by everyone! 🍴

We then took to the dance floor, had a boogie in our seats, and sang at the top of our voices as we enjoyed a fantastic evening of music and dancing 🎶

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and unforgettable moments shared by all 🤍

Mountfitchet House Prom Night - Part 1 ✨🪩

Last night we celebrated our annual Prom Night! We dressed to impress, walked the red carpet, and struck our best poses for the camera. 📸

We spent the afternoon getting ready, with stunning makeup by Riyanka and incredible support from all the staff. We then arrived in style in a beautiful 1947 Lea-Francis before taking our seats for an unforgettable evening ahead 🥂

A huge personal thank you to Paul from The Office Cleaning Company – Saffron Walden, who brought along the Lea-Francis, arrived suited and booted, and made the evening that extra bit special🌟

What followed was a truly brilliant evening, filled with laughter, wonderful company, and unforgettable moments. A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the night so special. We'd also like to extend our thanks to all the staff and organisers whose hard work behind the scenes made the event possible 🤍
