✨PROMOTION ANNOUNCEMENT✨

Cloudious joined Senescence in 2025 as a Care Assistant and has recently been promoted to Senior Carer in recognition of his outstanding quality of work, dedication, and commitment to delivering exceptional care.

Cloudious is married and a proud father of two children: an 18-year-old daughter and a 13-year-old son. Family is at the heart of everything he does, and he enjoys spending quality time with them whenever he is not at work.

One of Cloudious' favourite hobbies is watching cricket, particularly attending live matches whenever possible. He is also a theology student and enjoys studying Scripture, which helps deepen his faith and understanding of God.

Having moved to the United Kingdom in 2023, Cloudious has spent the last few years adapting to a new culture and way of life. This experience has helped him grow both personally and professionally, strengthening his resilience, adaptability, and appreciation for people from diverse backgrounds.

What Cloudious enjoys most about working in the care sector is the opportunity to make a positive difference in people's lives. Supporting individuals, promoting their independence, and helping them live fulfilling lives gives him a strong sense of purpose. Seeing people happy, confident, and able to maintain their independence brings him immense satisfaction and motivates him to continue providing compassionate, person-centred care.

Meet Our Fabulous Team 💜

Say hello to the wonderful Nadine! Nadine has recently joined the Senescence family, bringing with her around 5 years of care experience and a huge passion for making a difference. Her favourite part of being a carer? Meeting new clients, getting to know them, and building the kind of genuine rapport that makes every visit special.

Nadine was first introduced to the world of care through her own experience, when she sadly lost her mum. That experience inspired her to pursue a career helping others. Today, she's doing exactly that, making a positive difference to the lives of people in our community every day.

Outside of work, Nadine is a self-confessed goggle boxer and loves getting stuck into a good TV series. She also enjoys cross stitching and has a little (but entirely justified!) obsession with Highland cows. If there's a Highland cow nearby, chances are Nadine will be first in line to give it a fuss!

When she's not caring for clients or admiring cows, Nadine loves spending quality time with her fiancé and her three children.

Since joining Senescence, Nadine has already become incredibly popular with both clients and colleagues alike. She's regularly asked after by clients, has settled into the team brilliantly, and is an absolute credit to Senescence.

Meet Our Fabulous Team 💜

Introducing the one and only, Isabel, also know as Izzy. Izzy is one of our new starters here at Senescence, being with us for around 9 months, and it’s safe to say she has fit right in

Izzy was new to the care industry in 2025, due to wanting a change in her career and has said since becoming a carer she has realised how rewarding the job is.

Outside of work, Isabel enjoys going on walks and spending time with her dog, Zeus, who is a speedy whippet. Izzy also enjoys going out with her friends and enjoys a party, her tipple being a vodka and coke and known to be dangerous on the dancefloor.

Izzy is also a self confessed ‘Pro Doom Scroller’, which she informed me meant she can get lost and carried away scrolling through Tik Tok or Instagram reels... something most of us can sometimes be guilty of!

Izzy is proving to be a compassionate, thorough and impressive carer, receiving an abundance of positive feedback from clients since her starting.

Meet Our Fabulous Team 💜

Introducing our fire cracker, Hayley. Hayley has been Senescence for nearly 5 years.

Hayley has said she enjoys working in the home care industry, as she is able to help people and especially those who may be feeling lonely.

Outside of work, Hayley is often crocheting and she has been busy with orders from her colleagues! The last picture of this post is some of her very cute creations. The whole team agree Hayley is very talented with a pair of crochet hooks.

Hayley is also a self professed ‘Petrol Head’, and her favourite car is a Dodge Charger. Hayley even educated me on what this was by asking ‘Have you seen Dom’s car from Fast and Furious?’

Hayley is extremely passionate and she has an incredible rapport with her clients, she is a very reliable individual and committed to her role of a carer, and delivering the very best quality of care to her clients.

Meet Our Fabulous Team 💜

Introducing, the one and only, Yvette. Yvette is one of our incredible Team Leaders, who has been with Senescence now for over 6 years.

Yvette has said being a care worker is by far the best job she has had, and it is because of the difference she gets to make to peoples lives.

Outside of work, you can find Yvette busy in her craft room, where she makes beautiful handmade journals. Yvette has said her craft room is her place of calm and she finds crafting very therapeutic. Yvette also spends many of her days off in Cleethorpes with her beloved mum, Marge.

Yvette loves St Ives in Cornwall, and has said it is her plan to retire there along with her black and white cat, Winston.

Yvette is an extremely caring, kind and supportive individual who has a brilliant rapport with lots of our clients. Words of wisdom to her colleagues- make sure you do the pots.

Meet Our Fabulous Team 💜

Introducing our lovely, Lucy. Lucy has been Senescence for nearly 2 years, starting out her career as a carer and working up to a senior, and now a team leading position.

Lucy has been in the domiciliary care field for over 6 years and wants to develop her knowledge, and progress in the industry further.

Outside of work, you can often find Lucy at the gym. Also known as ‘Cardio Queen’, most fear the stair master, but in this case, it very much fears Lucy.

Lucy is also a proud mum of 2 boys, and they regularly enjoy ‘Dining Room Dance-offs’’ where Alexa and her tunes are always invited.

Lucy’s colleagues describe her as funny, hard-working and compassionate and is known to the office as always able to lend a hand.

We’re delighted to share some exciting news with our community. 💜

A few months ago, we introduced Jeanette as one of our wonderful Team Leaders — many of you will remember her for her warm, caring nature and her love of 70’s & 80’s music (especially Phil Collins).

Today, we’re incredibly proud to announce that Jeanette has been promoted to Community Operations Lead!
