Want to try yoga but not sure if it's for you?

Or perhaps you've tried it before but felt like everyone else knew what they were doing & you didn't so you didn't go back?

Maybe you think you're not flexible enough? Or want to get back into movement after a break, or you're simply curious about yoga but don't know where to start.

Then my Beginners Yoga Course could be exactly what you're looking for.

This 4-week course is designed to give you the space, time & confidence to explore the basics of yoga at your own pace.
We'll take things step by step, without the pressure of a general class.

You'll learn simple yoga postures, breathing practices, meditation & relaxation techniques, while building strength, flexibility & balance along the way.

And most importantly, there's no need to be flexible, fit or experienced.

Yoga isn't about perfecting postures. It's about learning to listen to your body, accepting where you are & discovering how to relax your mind.

The course will be kept small, with a maximum of 10 people, so there's plenty of opportunity for guidance, modifications and questions.

A cycle I didn't mention in my last post about Ayurveda, is a woman's menstrual cycle.

It's not just a period of inconvenience, but a powerful monthly rhythm that can reveal a lot about your health, energy & overall wellbeing.

Ayurveda views the menstrual cycle as an important reflection of the inner state of a woman's health & the Pitta dosha plays a key role.

Unfortunately, so many women are disconnected from their cycle.

I also ignored the subtle messages my body was sending me until they became so loud I had no other option but to listen.

Contraception methods whilst convenient can create a false period or put things on hold, which means we're not only out of sync with nature, but with our own natural cycles too.

Modern life often asks us to keep the same pace every day, every week, every month.

But our bodies don't work that way. They need balance.

We are not designed to have the same energy every single day.

We move through phases. We also have seasons.

When we try to maintain the same level of intensity throughout every phase of our cycle, we create more heat within the body.

Cue excess fire, burnout & inflammation.

Imagine understanding your body so well that your cycle becomes a guide rather than something to moan about.

That's what Ayurveda teaches us.

If you would like to find out more about how a holistic approach to your menstrual cycle might support you to find more ease, send me a DM & we can have a chat.

💫Sacred Sundays💫

Most Sundays I get up in the morning, I make myself a cup of cacao, do a Conscious Connected Breathwork session with Alchemy of Breath. Afterwards I pull a guidance card from my Catherine Maillard Medicine woman deck & spend sometime reflecting on life.

It's my sacred time to pause, tune in & reconnect.

I believe it's so important for us to continue to get to know ourselves, including the parts of ourselves we would rather avoid so we don't get stuck in unhelpful patterns.

When we are willing to meet our shadows with curiosity & compassion, we are able to so show up more fully in a loving way for ourselves & for the people around us.

The world needs grounded humans who are willing to work on themselves, rather than point the fingers at others for what's wrong with it.

I heard this poem the other day & thought I would share🤍

🌙With That Moon Language🌙

Admit something: Everyone you see, you say to
them, “Love me.”

Of course you do not do this out loud, otherwise
someone would call the cops.

Still, though, think about this, this great pull in us
to connect.

Why not become the one who lives with a full
moon in each eye that is always saying,
with that sweet moon language, what every other
eye in this world is dying to hear?
