As a practitioner, self-care isn't a luxury—it's essential. Taking time to rest, recharge, and look after my own wellbeing allows me to show up fully present, focused, and able to give my best to those I support.

It's something I encourage you to do too. Listen to your body. Don't wait until you're exhausted, overwhelmed, or unwell before taking a break. Self-care doesn't have to be extravagant; it can be as simple as a quiet bubble bath, a walk in nature, or enjoying a cup of tea in peace.

When we take time to care for ourselves, we return to our families, partners, colleagues, and friends as a healthier, happier version of ourselves. You can't pour from an empty cup. 💛

✨ Simple Ways to Reduce Chronic Anxiety ✨

When anxiety is running high, sometimes the most effective tools are the simplest.

🌿 Reduce excess stimulation
Step away from the constant noise. Turn off the endless stream of content promising to "cure" you. Instead, get outside, take a walk, and focus on your breathing.

💛 Practice daily gratitude
Every day, write down 3 things you're grateful for. This small habit can gradually shift your perspective and help your brain notice the good alongside the challenges.

📝 Create a worry window
Rather than allowing worries to take over your entire day, set aside 10–15 minutes specifically for worrying or problem-solving. When anxious thoughts arise outside that time, remind yourself you'll come back to them during your worry window. This helps retrain the mind to stop constant rumination.

Small, consistent changes can make a big difference. Be patient with yourself—healing and growth happen one step at a time.
