Brigid Cross creation Workshop & Imbolc Meditation £15

On the day of Imbolc, the half way point between the winter solstice & the spring equinox, come join us to craft a Saint Brigids reed Cross. Let's celebrate the turning of the wheel & honour the return of the light.

Saint Brigid, is an Irish & Celtic patron who is celebrated on the 1st - 2nd February (Imbolc) to welcome new growth, beginnings & rebirth as well as healing, fertility & protection.

The reed crosses were traditionally crafted by hand and placed in the home to invite protection of the homestead & the family & crops. Let's honour the Godess, come & craft your own Brigid cross to cleanse away the reflective winter energy and welcome the rebirth of the light and spring.

Each year, on the crafting of the new cross, the old years one is burnt to cleanse old energy and allow space for the new season ahead.

"A reminder to us all that even in the darkest days of the year, there is promise of the return of the light with growth & new beginnings " ✨️

We will be using natural reeds, ribbons, gems, & other decorative materials. All supplied but you are welcome to bring along your own too. 🤗 The only limit is your imagination.

Refreshments provided too. After the Brigid crosses have been crafted, we will connect as a group in a relaxing meditation 🧘‍♀️ crystals and reiki infused energy. Please bring along a mat, pillow and blankets. This meditation will create new intention for the season ahead allowing you to reconnect to yourself 🙏✨️💜
