⚽🏆 What a fantastic afternoon of football celebrations at Ladybrook Manor! 🏆⚽

The weather may have forced us indoors, but that certainly didn't dampen our spirits! We kicked off our World Cup celebrations by screening the original 1966 World Cup Final in the morning, bringing back some wonderful memories and plenty of football nostalgia. 📺⚽

In the afternoon, the fabulous Geoff Stacks had everyone singing along with a fantastic selection of tunes, and of course there was a rousing rendition of Sweet Caroline that got everyone in the football mood! 🎤🎶🎵

There was lots of laughter, singing, reminiscing, and team spirit throughout the day. A wonderful way to celebrate together and enjoy the excitement of the beautiful game! 🏅❤️

⚽🏆 Inter-Home Football Champions! 🏆⚽

A fantastic afternoon of football today as Ladybrook Manor took on Longstone Manor in the Inter-Home Football Match.

Both teams showed great determination, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout, making for an exciting and competitive game. A huge well done to everyone who took part and gave their all on the pitch.

We’re delighted to say that Ladybrook Manor came out on top and proudly brought home the trophy! 🏆💙

☀️🍔 BBQ Evening at Ladybrook Manor 🍔☀️

This evening, the residents enjoyed a lovely BBQ in the sunshine, indulging in delicious food while making the most of the beautiful weather.

There were plenty of happy faces, lovely conversations, and enjoyable moments shared as everyone relaxed outdoors together. It was wonderful to see residents enjoying the fresh air, good company, and tasty BBQ treats. 🌭🌼

Moments like these are what make summer at Ladybrook Manor so special 💜

Residents from both our Residential Suite and Dementia Suite recently came together for a creative afternoon. 🎨✨

With calming music playing in the background, everyone enjoyed spending time expressing their creativity, sharing conversations, and creating their own unique artwork. Sessions like these provide a wonderful opportunity for residents to socialise, relax, and enjoy a sense of achievement. 🎨

It was lovely to see so many smiles, colourful creations, and friendships being made across the home. 💜

Yesterday was Kath’s last shift at Ladybrook Manor. 💐

16 years ago, Kath joined the concierge team and since then has shown unwavering commitment, compassion, and dedication in her role. She has been a valued member of the team and will be greatly missed by both colleagues and residents alike.

Kath has now finally decided to retire, and while we are sad to see her go, we wish her a long, happy, and well-deserved retirement.

Thank you for everything, Kath – enjoy this next chapter! ❤️

What a wonderful afternoon celebrating the 81st VE Day at Ladybrook Manor 🇬🇧✨

A huge thank you to the amazing singer Natalie, who entertained everyone brilliantly and helped make the day so special. Residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea with plenty of Pimms and fizz flowing as we came together to remember, celebrate and share memories.

It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces and everyone enjoying the occasion. Thank you to all involved in making the celebration such a success ❤️
