🌸Yesterday, we had the lovely Gail visit us to deliver a floral demonstration and workshop for the residents.

Everyone had a wonderful time creating their own beautiful floral centrepieces, showing off their creativity and enjoying something a little different. There was even some singing throughout the afternoon! 🎶💐

The men have headed off to the Cheshire Line Tavern for a pint or two 🍺 — can’t beat a sunny day, a cold beer and a good old natter!

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon celebrating the connection between food, personal history, and cultural heritage. Three residents shared their life stories and favourite family recipes, sparking meaningful conversations and cherished memories.

Head Chef, Martin, also delivered a zero-waste cooking demonstration, showcasing how all parts of ingredients can be used to reduce food waste and promote sustainable cooking practices. ♻️

Visitors were invited to take home complimentary coffee grounds for composting, helping to encourage environmentally friendly habits within our community. ☕🌱

A fantastic event filled with flavour, memories, and sustainability!

🐑🐔🐰 We had a wonderful visit from Mobile Cheshire Farm today!

Residents enjoyed spending time with 10-week-old lambs Ned & Nessie, along with Marylin the chicken and a friendly dwarf rabbit. It was lovely to see so many smiles, conversations and animal interactions throughout the day.

Thank you for bringing the farm to us and helping create such a special afternoon for our residents. ❤️

🎶🌼 Ladybrook Manor’s Eras Tour rolls on! 🌼🎶

Today we travelled back to the fabulous 1950s and swinging 1960s for a fun-filled garden party! With the amazing Jo Farrow providing the soundtrack, there was plenty of singing, smiling, and reminiscing in the sunshine. 🎤✨

As if that wasn’t enough excitement for one day, we also celebrated resident David’s birthday! 🎂🥳

A wonderful afternoon of music, memories, and birthday cheer. Happy Birthday, David! 🎉💙

Hola from Ladybrook Manor!

As our World Cup celebrations continue, our latest destination was the vibrant country of Mexico!

Residents at Ladybrook Manor enjoyed a fantastic day filled with Mexican-inspired food, colourful decorations, music and themed activities. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience a different culture, share stories, and enjoy lots of laughter together.

Our World Cup journey is about so much more than football – it's about bringing the world to our residents, celebrating different cultures, creating meaningful experiences and making wonderful memories together.

☀️ There's nothing better than enjoying some fresh air and sunshine in our beautiful garden at Ladybrook Manor. 🌸

Our lovely resident Rosina certainly knows how to relax, making herself comfortable with her feet up and soaking up the peaceful surroundings! 😄

While we love making the most of the warmer weather, the wellbeing of our residents is always our top priority. Our team ensures everyone enjoys the sunshine safely by encouraging regular hydration, providing shaded areas, applying sun protection where needed, and keeping a close eye on everyone throughout the day.

It's wonderful to see our residents making the most of our outdoor spaces, enjoying the fresh air, beautiful gardens, and each other's company.
