The theme for World Digestive Health Day is Chronic Diarrhea: Don't Flush the Signs Away. Chronic diarrhea is defined as the persistent passage of loose or watery stools lasting for more than four weeks. An often underreported and misunderstood condition, as many individuals experience embarrassment and therefore refrain from seeking treatment unless they develop serious symptoms. If you are experiencing chronic diarrhea it is important to speak to your gp as it can signal more serious underlying diseases, such as ulcerative colitis or irritable bowel syndrome.

Do you know what to do if someone is having a eplieptic seizure.
The epilepsy society has great resources that can help you learn more

Usually, when a person has a seizure, there is no need to call 999 for an ambulance. However, always do call an ambulance if:

you know it is the person’s first seizure
they have injured themselves badly
they have trouble breathing after the seizure has stopped
one seizure immediately follows another with no recovery in between
the seizure lasts two minutes longer than is usual for them, or
you do not know how long their seizures last.
For someone you do not know, follow our basic first aid message: Calm, Cushion, Call.

A mole (that looks different from your other moles)
A mole, birthmark, beauty mark, or any brown spot that:
Varies in colour
Increases in size or thickness
Changes in texture
Is irregular in outline
Is bigger than 6mm or 1/4", the size of a pencil eraser
Appears after age 21
A new red or darker colour flaky patch that may be a little raised
