Celebrating 30 Years of Mastercall

This week, Mastercall proudly celebrates 30 years of caring for communities, supporting patients and working with partners across Greater Manchester. Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing insights from the people who make Mastercall what it is today - our members and leaders.

We begin with reflections from our CEO,Michaela Buck who shares what makes Mastercall unique, the impact we have made over the past three decades and the opportunities ahead as we look towards the next 30 years.

The hot weather may be enjoyable for many of us, but it can also pose serious health risks ☀️
With an Amber Heat-Health Alert in place across the North West until Thursday 25 June, we're asking everyone to take extra care and look out for family, friends, neighbours and anyone who may be more vulnerable to the heat.
Make sure you're drinking plenty of water, keeping cool where possible, and recognising the signs of heat exhaustion and heatstroke.

Around 1 in 4 health and care staff in Greater Manchester report experiencing racism at work. Behind every statistic is a real person, a real experience, and a real impact.

We support the Greater Manchester Integrated Care Partnership's campaign, which highlights the experiences of health and care staff and encourages all of us to challenge racism whenever we see it.

This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re taking the opportunity to recognise the importance of mental health and wellbeing, not just this week, but every day.

Mental health affects us all, and creating supportive, compassionate workplaces where people feel able to talk, seek support, and look after their wellbeing is more important than ever.

At Mastercall, we have trained Mental Health First Aiders across the organisation who are available to offer support, guidance, and a listening ear to colleagues whenever needed.

We are also proud members of the National Su***de Prevention Alliance, supporting the shared commitment to reducing stigma, raising awareness, and helping to prevent su***de.

Sometimes, simply checking in with someone, taking time to listen, or asking “Are you okay?” can make a real difference.

Great to be at The Workplace Event this year at the NEC in Birmingham

Mastercall had a fantastic time connecting with industry peers, exploring new ideas, and seeing first-hand the innovations shaping the future of workplace and facilities management.

The event provided a valuable opportunity to share insights, build relationships, and gain fresh perspectives. We heard from other organisations on how they are embedding social value. We also attended talks on waste and Scope 3 reductions in cleaning operations, how to build a more resilient supply chain, and the future of Facilities Management, to name but a few.

Lots to take away as we continue to strengthen our approach, build on what we already deliver, and apply new ideas across our services and facilities.
