Happy International Dog Day! 🐾

Today, we’re giving a special shout-out to the amazing therapy dogs who visit our care homes and bring so much joy to our residents. ❤️

From a gentle cuddle and a waggy tail to simply spending time together, these four-legged visitors have a wonderful way of brightening the day and creating special moments for everyone they meet.

A huge thank you to all the incredible therapy dogs and their handlers for the happiness, comfort and companionship they bring to our homes. 🐶

Another Week of Harbour Fest Fun! 🎉☀️

It’s been another brilliant week of Harbour Fest celebrations, with each home putting its own unique twist on the festivities!

We’ve had a tropical-themed fair at Harrogate Lodge Care Home, the original annual Harbour Fest at The Old Vicarage Care Home, Bollywood dancing at Victoria Care Home, a dog show at Ty Gwynno Care Home, a BBQ at Allerton Lodge Care Home, a Hawaiian theme at Devonshire House & Lodge and classic summer fairs at Bright Meadows Care Home and Redwell Hills Care Home in Consett.

A huge thank you and well done to all our teams for making these celebrations happen! 👏

And there’s still more to come, with five events this weekend and two rescheduled events in September! 🎉

☀️ Harbour Fest Summer Fairs: August Highlights! 🎉

The Harbour Fest celebrations have continued throughout August, with even more of our homes coming together for fantastic summer fairs filled with fun, laughter and plenty of special moments! 🥳

A huge thank you to all our teams, residents, relatives, friends and community members who have helped make these events so special.

And the fun doesn’t stop there! This weekend is set to be a very busy one, with an amazing 6 Harbour Fest summer fairs taking place across the country! 🎉☀️

Bright Meadows Care Home, Bolton - 15th August 2.30 - 4.30pm
Harrogate Lodge Care Home, Leeds - 15th August 12 - 4pm - Tropical theme 🌺
Victoria Care Home, St Helens - 15th August 2 - 4pm
Redwell Hills Care Home in Consett - 15th August 2 - 4pm
Ty Gwynno Care Home, Pontypridd - 16th August from 2.30pm - Dog Show 🐶
