🙏 Never Give Up On Your Dreams. They Were Given To You For A Reason 🙏

Those of you who know me, know that having to close my business was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.

But, I’ve always said, “Things happen for a reason”.

And those reasons have become clear…For over 30 years, my dream (and Lee’s ) was to move and live in Wales. A place we have spent so much time and have longed to call home.
That dream has now become a reality and we are officially moving to Wales! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 ❤️

I really didn’t know how life would turn out after having to close the doors to one dream, but it was meant to be, to open these doors to another!

So, it’s official…Serenity for the Soul has become no more. Everything I’ve worked for, trained for, has led me to this point, but I couldn’t have done any of it without you…my wonderful clients.

So a HUGE THANK YOU! To each and everyone of you who has graced my door. Opened your heart and soul to me. Trusted me and been a friend to me.

What a ride it’s been, but on to the next adventure and the next journey.
Who knows what our future holds, but I know I’m spending it with the one I love in a place that has held my heart for so long.

Good Morning and Happy Summer Solstice 🌞

I was up before Dawn this morning as I wanted to watch the sunrise. To embrace this beautiful days energy.

(The Deer weren’t too impressed that I disturbed their grazing! 🦌)

Dawn began perfectly and then just at the last minute a band of cloud moved in and blocked my view! 🫤

It was still such a magical moment and the colours were amazing! So glad I decided to do this ♥️🌞

One whole year since I (the dog) broke my thumb!!!! 😳

What a year it’s been! Unfortunately, I’m not where I want to be since having to close the doors to my little business 💔

The last few years have been somewhat of a challenge..with having my page hacked and losing over 1000k followers, over 100 5⭐️ reviews and all of my posts.

But I came back and rebuilt it all, and then “bam”, broken thumb and had to close my business for a very uncertain few months, but I came back again and built my business back up again with more followers and reviews.

Making the decision to close my doors in May was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, and I will admit, I am still very raw & very lost about the whole situation.

But you know what..I am extremely proud of what I’ve built, what I’ve achieved and nothing can take that away from me.

So for now, I’m going to go and glare at the dog…Have a brew and be thankful for all that I had.

Ok deep breath…I’m going to tell you something that I have NEVER told anyone all my life.
I’ve been hiding since I was 5 years old.
When I was born..I was actually born deaf…My parents didn’t know.
But my mum knew something wasn’t quite right. As a mum you know….

After a LOT of intervention, hospital visits, ENT, you name it..I was told I had to wear hearing aids…as a child. I did not want that stigma.
I said No!

Resulting in a life where I lost so much, missed so much. Been ridiculed so much you wouldn’t believe I’m still standing. By “friends”. “Family…

Tonight something happened that made me feel s**t, misunderstood, not listened to, because I maybe didn’t hear you correctly the first time, but then went on to take the p**s..(I have years & years of people taking the p**s) but this hurt more than it should.

I can’t keep doing this..hiding this 5 year old girl…she deserves more.

So..hey!
I’m Nic..I’m deaf…Give me some time and respect.
