Taleforge uses tabletop role-playing games as a framework for youth mentoring and therapy, online, in person or at your venue. Taleforge uses Dungeons and Dragons as a framework for youth mentoring and therapy. DnD provides a safe way for young people to practice social skills, problem solving and basic maths and english. The best thing about DnD is that it can be customised, and this makes it a perfect tool for therapy. As a therapeutic DM, we customise the narrative to focus on areas where players struggle. This provides them with a safe space to develop skills, coping mechanisms, and most importantly, empowers them to tackle their challenges. Youth mentoring offers young people a space to speak freely with an experienced Mentor who can provide support and guidance in all aspects of life from social to economic. This can vary from having someone to speak to about mental health difficulties, career advice, educational support, and anything else the young person would like to discuss. In this way Taleforge is an open ended therapy without set goals and directed by the players. Whether this means a deep focus on playing DnD and experiencing its benefits, or a way to get support and guidance on any topic through the therapeutic bond with a Mentor, or a mix of both.

Taleforge summer club was off to a great start this week, as we kicked off a unique, client-developed campaign featuring:

💕 The wedding of the year - Brian the cosmic squirrel finally weds his beloved Briella.

🔎 Double crossing, whiplash-inducing twists and turns, and plenty of surprises along the way.

😎 Opportunities to make decisions, solve problems, work together, work against each other, and subvert the rules whilst having fun.

Also Pebbles. He likes rocks.
