Care and Support Worker - Domiciliary
Location: Middlesbrough
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable care and support worker to join our team in a domiciliary setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily living activities
- Help clients with mobility, including transferring them in and out of bed, chairs, and other locations
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Prepare meals and snacks for clients
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning
- Provide companionship and support to clients
Requirements:
- Care certification
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a care and support role, with experience working in a home care or community care setting preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
