Dates for your diary next week 📅

On Tuesday 18th it is Teesside Dementia Link Services monthly Cinema Club at ARC Stockton Arts Centre get there for 1.50pm. The film is Enchanted 🎥 tickets can be bought on the day from the box office 🎟

Unfortunately, this months Elm Tree Social event has been cancelled so will return in September.

We have a Mediterranean Coffee Morning on Friday 21st at 10.30am 🫒🍇🧀

Then the Latte Singers will be joining us in the afternoon from 2pm for some singing and dancing 🎤💃🕺 we are hoping the sun will shine and we can get out into the garden for this ☀️

This morning, Frank and Malcolm came to sing for us 🎤🎵🎶

We loved singing along and having a dance 💃🕺

Frank played his guitar and Malcolm played his ukelele and kazoo 🎸 They brought along Malcolm's Grandson who also sang us an Oasis track whilst playing his guitar. We were very surprised to learn he is only 9 years old, what a brilliant job he did 🌟

Thank you for giving up your free time to entertain us, we really do appreciate it 🥰

We've been reminiscing over the past week about some of the meaningful jobs we used to do and some special memories we hold from them. It has been lovely hearing the passion we had for our work and remembering how we felt at that moment in time.

Shirley said, "I would have loved to work with little ones in a school." When asked if she had a dream job that she never got chance to do.

Here's a clip of some of us sharing what our jobs were. Some told us about their first job while others told us about their favourite job. We also talked about if they had a dream job that they would have loved to do but never got chance to.
