The UK Government need to deploy the British Army or something to Middlesbrough and they need to do it now!

House fire that killed a young girl and her aunty yesterday, a house rammed by a vehicle this morning, reports just coming in about 2 separate machete attacks, plus the mindless vandalism of the Priory Woods school minibus and this is just the beginning

Cleveland Police can't keep up and can only do so much and things are getting dangerous, Middlesbrough will be destroyed pretty soon and how many more people need to senselessly lose their lives before the Government take action

Andy McDonald MP
Ben Houchen - Tees Valley Mayor

Is there anything that can be done? I tried to tag Luke Myer and Chris Cooke but it wouldn't let me. We need to take Middlesbrough back from the thugs, NOW

Please share this everywhere possible. We need a response from MP's, councillors, the mayor and anyone possible to sort this out

UPDATE: This afternoon i have emailed: Ben Houchen, Chris Cooke, Andy McDonald, Luke Myer and Chris McDonald. Chris McDonald for Stockton North is my local MP as I am aware that MP's are only allowed to respond to queries from residents of their constituencies

I'm going to say some things that some people are not going to like...but i am done with holding my tongue just to save face publicly! If you don't like what follows, unfriend me, unfollow me.

On Saturday 22nd August at 3:39am there was a devastating crash involving a Volkswagen Passat carrying 5 criminals and a marked Cleveland Police Armed Response Vehicle (ARV) carrying 2 officers. The crash resulted in all 7 people losing their lives

The events began at around 3:30am when a separate Cleveland Police Armed Response Vehicle spotted the Passat and realised it was possibly driving on cloned number plates and was linked to several other criminal offences. They activated lights and sirens in an attempt to stop the car and then a pursuit happened

The pursuit lasted approximately 7 minutes, heading through residential streets in South Bank, Middlesbrough, with the Passat reaching speeds between 80-100mph. With it being very early morning there would have been very few pedestrians or other cars on the road, so the police continued the pursuit

The Passat then decided to make a completely reckless move and join the A66, driving in the wrong direction. At this point, the pursuing ARV abandoned the pursuit as it had become too dangerous to continue.

The second ARV was sent towards the last known location of the Passat to help search for the Vehicle. On route to the location, the Passat collided head on with the second ARV at high speed, killing all 7 in both cars almost instantly

The estimated speed of the Passat at the time of the collision is rumoured to be 100+ MPH. No information has been released as yet as to the speed of the ARV. There are also rumours that the Passat may have been driving with its lights off.

Now, here's the controversial part. The 2 officers involved in the crash, PC Matthew Blades (37) and PC Tom Clough (38) were killed senselessly by 5 individuals who had no regard for their own lives, let alone anyone else's. They went to work to protect us all and never made it home

My deepest sympathies and condolences go out to Matthew and Tom's friends, families and colleagues, and that is it. I hold no sympathy for the 5 occupants of the Passat or their families, and here's why

Of the 5 occupants, all aged between 16 and 23, 4 of them had lengthy criminal records, including dr*g dealing, possession of fi****ms, assaults on emergency workers and threats to kill, as well as dangerous driving and driving without licenses.

They had also previously filmed themselves driving at high speeds in other cars and uploading the videos to TikTok, as part of a new craze. Just 6 days before this incident, and almost identical incident happened in Ireland where the 5 youths were also killed. Thankfully no other fatalities in that one. One also filmed himself in a balaclava ranting about being profoundly anti police

A possible motive for these 5 heading out in the Passat has also since been released. Hours before the fatal crash, a Volvo XC60 had rammed into the house of the father of one of the 5 criminals. This motive has not been confirmed but the Volvo and Passat have previously been linked together in criminal activity. So possible revenge for ramming the house

Now, as for the families, one of the mothers of the boys had actually arranged a vigil/send off for her son, and encouraged people to take part in a 'high speed drive by' just metres away from where the fatal crash happened.

Multiple family members of all of the 5 idiots in the Passat have also 'demanded answers' from the police and are blaming the police for the crash and the loss of 7 lives

Here's the REALLY controversial part. I couldn't care less that those 5 idiots have lost their lives. I only care that they took 2 innocent, hard working police officers with them. The 5 in the Passat got everything that they deserved and as far as I am concerned, were complete scum, much like their families are for the few lines above. Also, just to reiterate, I hold no sympathy whatsoever for any of them

Any of you who truly know me, know that I hold the highest respect possible for any member, past or present of our emergency services and our armed services. Had things been different with my physical health, I had plans to join both the British Army and Cleveland Police, but sadly those dreams were never fulfilled

Rest in Peace PC Clough and PC Blades, and once again, sincerest and deepest condolences to your friends, family and colleagues past and present. Your bravery and sacrifice has not gone unnoticed by 99.9% of the country and you will always be remembered

The information in this post is publicly available from multiple news sources and has also come from Cleveland Police and the Independent Office for Police Complaints (IOPC) who are investigating the incident. The personal views and opinions are mine and mine alone

On behalf of Let's Talk Health & Wellbeing (LTHW), myself (Jason) and our staff would like to offer heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the two brave Cleveland Police officers who sadly lost their lives in the early hours of Saturday Morning (22nd August 2026)

PC Matthew Blades (37) and PC Tom Clough (38) lost their lives when a Volkswagen Passat entered the A66 near South Bank going the wrong way and hit them head on. The 2 officers that lost their lives were travelling the correct way on the A66 when they were struck.

They were not involved in the initial pursuit but were in the area helping to search for the car after it had triggered several ANPR cameras

The passat was being chased by armed response officers following reports of it being involved in numerous offences and believed to be running on cloned plates

Armed officers abandoned the pursuit as soon as the car entered the carriageway the wrong way and 10 seconds later, the collision happened.

The collision, which claimed 7 lives in total, 5 from the Passat and the 2 police officers happened at 3:39am and all victims were pronounced deceased at the scene

Our heartfelt sympathies and condolences also go out to the police officers families, friends and colleagues at this extremely difficult time. A GoFundMe has been launched to help the families of the 2 officers

No police officer should ever have to go to work, protecting members of the public from the harm caused by others and have to worry about not returning home.

The devastation caused by this incident will be felt for a long time by Cleveland Police and the families and friends of the officers. Rest In Peace, PC's Blades and Clough

Please feel free to share this post and like and share the GoFundMe. Floral tributes for the officers can be left at the South Tees Business Park sign at the junction of the A66 and Normanby Road

Paid our first little visit to the new Stockton Urban Waterfront Park on the High Street this afternoon. Like many, I was skeptical about the outcome when it was being built, but seeing it for myself and seeing how many people are enjoying it, its a fantastic addition to our high street

There is plenty to do here for all ages and abilities, wide open spaces and smaller gardens if you just want to sit and chill. Several overhead shelters provide great cover from the sun or rain

There are also several rather large structures pointing to Stockton's history and heritage with large steel alcoves/gates and more. The whole play area is fenced off and regularly patrolled

If you're from Teesside get yourself down and check it out for yourself. It really does connect the high street back to the River Tees and opens the area up very nicely. A very welcome addition provided by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council and the Stockton Parent Carer Forum

Hi everyone,

Firstly, I apologise for the quietness. Its just me and one other person trying to sort things at the moment. I am also trying to save up the money needed to register us as a CIC but things just unexpectedly keep cropping up

Once we are registered I have one foot in the door ready for us to get a physical location going with others being discussed so its just a waiting game currently to see when I can get us registered

In the meantime please direct any questions to our messenger or whatsapp as we are always looking for new ways to work with local organisations, councils and other businesses and will shortly be looking for more volunteers so that we can get our first meeting up and running which I am hoping to get in place before the end of the year :)

You know what sucks more than anybody could ever possibly know about living with chronic illness/disabilities, unless you're going through it yourself or are close to somebody experiencing it

The fact that, it takes me 2-3 days to prepare my body and my mind, just to go out for half a day and spend some time with my family

The fact that, after I have been out for half a day, my body will need 2-3 days of doing practically nothing to recover physically and mentally from that half a day out

The fact that, 6 years on from my diagnosis of 3 bulging spinal discs, 3 years on from my diagnosis of Ankylosing Spondylitis, 2 years on from a firm diagnoses of thoraculumbar scoliosis, despite being told its been getting progressively worse as ive been growing from my teenage years and 1 year on from my diagnosis of fibromyalgia...I have watched myself deteriorate from being somewhat active to the above....within 6 years! Yes I have all of these simultaneously

The fact that, jobs that others take for granted, like hoovering the car, or washing the dishes, takes all of the above, time to prepare, more time to actually do the task, and recovery afterwards. Where, in my 20's I could do a full day's housework and barely break a sweat. These days, im breathing out of my arse after hoovering 1 level of the house and carrying the hoover downstairs

The fact that, to the outside world, I look like your average 38 year old, able bodied, dad bod (my weight has barely fluctuated in the last 10 years 🤣)...but on the inside, the time it has taken me to get as far as other people seeing me, the task im doing almost becomes null and void

The fact that, I, like many other disabled people, will be labelled a scrounger, told that I should 'get a job' and 'stop milking the system. The fact that I will be compared to another disabled person, possibly somebody's brother, sister, mum or dad, who has the same conditions, or something worse, and they manage to work

The fact that people will make out that I have a 'free car paid for by the taxpayer' when I pay money that is used to help me with the extra costs of my multiple disabilities and that car is the only source of independence that I still have, enabling me to get out of the house and feel like a human for once

The fact that, I can say all of this, and it won't make a single bit of difference, people will still blindly judge, people will still discriminate, people will still compare, people will still tell me im a lazy scrounger. And whats worse, they don't even know the half of it, despite the mammoth length of this post

I still haven't gotten into a majority of the psychological issues, caused by all of the above and so much more. People will still not see the pain behind the mask, the fact that I have tried to end my own life 6 times in the last 5 years (yes, I fail at that too 🤣) most recently a month ago, because I would give anything to go back to being able bodied

I used to run, 5k and 10k road races for charity. I used to climb mountains, I used to bike ride, I used to do so many things and disability has taken all of that and more away from me! So go ahead, judge me for my seemingly normal outward appearance, judge me for the fact that I don't (can't) work or that I'm fleecing the system, but just bear in mind the rest of this post before you do...karma has a funny way of repaying those kinds of attitudes

As part of our campaign for crisis handling and mental health awareness training for emergency service staff, we are looking for anyone working for any of the emergency services in any capacity

From frontline police officers, firefighters, paramedics, coastguards to call handlers, to civilian staff and everyone in between, we would like to gather your opinions on the current level of training provided for mental health crisis situations and general mental health awareness and how you feel about our proposals and how they could help

Could you respond to a crisis situation and be both professional but also connect with the person in crisis in a personal manner, offering that genuine human connection and making the person in crisis feeling heard when they need it most?

Could you recognise the signs and symptoms of one of your colleagues suffering from a decline in their mental health? Would you know what to do and how to act and talk to them to help them? Would you feel confident in knowing which services to refer them to if they need help?

Please share this post and, if anyone is currently working with the emergency services in any capacity, please respond and give us some feedback and feelings on the proposals

My petition has officially been accepted and published by the Government Petitions Team. The petition calls for mandatory crisis handling training for frontline emergency service staff, as well as mandatory mental health awareness training for ALL emergency service staff, both frontline and those working in offices, call centres, etc

There needs to be an established and accepted level of mental health training across emergency services, frontline staff need to be able to switch off 'professional mode' and connect with somebody in crisis on a personal level to assist them in getting the help they need

When in crisis, most people shy away from talking to emergency services, they want to know that they're actually being heard, their issues are being taken into account and know that somebody understands them. That's what will save even more lives in the long run

As well as the crisis training, ALL staff should be able to recognise the basic signs of declining mental health, and know what to do to initially help that person, know what to suggest for them to get help, and know how to be there for somebody and hopefully stop them from declining even further

A job in the emergency services can be some of the most physically and mentally demanding jobs in the world. They have to deal with real life and death incidents every day. They are all modern day heroes and often, their mental health gets ignored or brushed aside as they are supposed to just 'deal with it, its the job'

Recognising the signs and symptoms of declining mental health will keep these heroes on our streets, helping others and will help to ensure that they are looked after, especially during stressful events and shifts that may hit a little differently

Please sign and share this petition as far and wide as you can, mental health isn't talked about enough, is stigmatised heavily and more support should be put in place, for EVERYONE ❤️

Mandate mandatory training for all frontline emergency service staff to recognise and handle mental crisis situations, especially if someone is in immediate danger. This training should include training on mental health awareness.
