The charity supporting Stoke Mandeville Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. BURPS (baby unit relatives and parent support) was set up in April 2000.

Insta: burpscharity BURPS Charity is made up of a group of parents and relatives that have had an ill or premature baby on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. They understand the situation that parents find themselves in and try to give support and practical help. Regu

lar coffee mornings and evenings are held as well as fundraising to aid in the supply of additional equipment and training for the Unit.

Twins Leandro and James were born at 34 weeks and popped back into the unit to see the nurses having just celebrated their 1st birthday 🎈 🎈

✨ July’s LittleGlow session exclusively for NICU families is now open for booking via our website www.burpscharity.org/events
💜 The session is funded by BURPS so if you had a baby on the NICU, this session is free to attend

It’s been even hotter than usual on the unit during the heatwave 🥵 one of our lovely volunteers dropped some cold drinks and lollies off for parents and staff to enjoy 💜
