I asked Kate for a few random fun facts - here is what she said....🤣

I once spent two hours with a clown in B&Q learning how to spin plates, I only went in for some screws!!

I was recruited to help out at a sales convention for Birds Eye. I thought I was helping out with the marketing & hosting but I was put into a six-foot Clarence the polar bear costume that was so huge I got wedged in a doorway , it took three people to push me through. My neighbour still calls me Clarence 12 years on …

I was born in Australia

My favourite food is guacamole. And the chicken curry at The Crown in Wrinehill.

I love a builders' brew ( no sugar ) with a Galaxy Ripple on the side.

‘Shall we release a load of balloons off the balcony?!’

This was a total goosebump moment as we farewelled Liv - she was a massive LFC fan so we sang You’ll never Walk Alone together instead of a hymn. She then had a minutes applause. 👏

Her family brought some of the things she loved with them, Lego World Cup (sorry Liv England didn’t win!) and her Lego trainer, and her football boots that remained OUTSIDE (if you know, you know!)

Biggest love to Liv’s family, friends and football team and thank you for letting me share this special moment x

His Majesty’s Coroner’s Office in Stoke-on-Trent is appealing to trace relatives of a man who died recently.

Anthony George Marshall, 61, died on Longton Road in Stoke-on-Trent, on Saturday 20 June.

His death is not being treated as suspicious.

HM Coroner for Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent is keen to trace Mr Marshall’s next of kin.

Anyone who knew Mr Marshall or can provide any information as to any possible relatives should email the coroner’s office at [email protected]

It’s sometimes difficult to know what to post on social media when you work in the funeral service…..

Luckily a lot of families are happy for me to share photos of their loved ones service, however, I thought I would share some behind the scenes for you! 😂💒

Settle the argument… ice poles or ice pops?

You know how I have random ideas……

Well today the lovely W.R. Bettelley Funeral Directors had ice lolly’s waiting for them in the freezer…

Well now you all get ice poles too!

Tea? Coffee? Ice pole?

It’s hot. You might be wearing black to a service - it’s ok to take your jacket off 💕

I’m in early to get the doors and windows open and have a fan on - it’s still warm. (I’m trying my best to keep everyone cool!)

There will be iced water out all week if anyone needs a drink during the service please help yourself, or you are feeling unwell, please give us a wave we can assist.

Handheld fans are brill - as are orders of service for wafting! 😂
