It's treating someone with the same dignity and kindness you'd want for your own family.

A Yellow Weather Warning for thunderstorms and heavy rain is in place across parts of England and Wales today. The Met Office is warning of heavy downpours, thunder, lightning and the possibility of localised flooding.

To all our Cera Care carers, please take extra care when travelling between calls. 🚗💨

🌧️ Allow extra time for your journeys
⚡ Be aware of sudden changes in conditions
🚗 Take extra care on wet and flooded roads
📱 Keep an eye on weather updates
💜Most importantly, please don't take unnecessary risks

And to all our clients and families — please stay safe, stay warm and, if the weather gets particularly bad, make sure you are somewhere safe and sheltered.
Our carers have enough adventures getting through the rota without Mother Nature joining in! 😂🌧️

Behind every care call is a person.
Someone waiting for the sound of a knock at the door.
Someone who might have been alone for hours.
Someone who might have been having a difficult morning.
Someone who might just want to tell you the same story they've told you ten times before. 💜
And then you arrive.
For you, it may be another call on a busy rota.
For them, you might be the best part of their day.
Never underestimate that.

Happy International Dog Day! 🐾🐶

At Cera, we know that pets are so much more than just animals- they really are part of the family. Whether it’s a wagging tail welcoming our care staff at the door, or a comforting cuddle on the sofa with a service user, our four-legged friends have an incredible power to lift spirits and improve quality of life ❤️

In celebration of our favourite canine companions, we’re looking back at the incredible impact animals have on our health, happiness, and wellbeing.

That is the part of care that doesn't always show up on a care plan.
And that's why what our carers do matters so much. 💜
