Last week and the week before i trialed a mini baby yoga course and i feel it went pretty well ✨

🎓 So last week was my final baby massage course before my summer break! 🎓

It was lovely to see a familiar face returning this time around with her beautiful second daughter.

I have now had the privilege of spending time with this mummy and both of her beautiful girls, you were such a joy!

It has been so special to have been able to meet both girls and to spend time with them and see them both grow 💛

Babies Doing Yoga! What’s That all About?

Baby yoga is not “yoga” in the traditional sense. Baby yoga is the use of various poses and positions to promote baby’s general health and wellbeing. The postures and positions used help to:

🤍 Provide flexibility

🤍 Promote postural control and body awareness

🤍 Promote tummy time for babies and active play in the form of swings and dips which help to develop baby’s prospective and vestibular system

🤍 Yoga poses are practised to songs to develop baby’s sense of rhythm and promote language development and communication between mother and baby

🤍 The use of touch in baby yoga also helps to create a happy secure trusting relationship between mother and baby and can help in bonding

During July i am running a mini bay yoga course. Come along and see the benefits of baby yoga for yourself.
