Sorry I’ve not been in touch much on here lately! 🐾❤️

I’ve actually still been keeping myself very busy behind the scenes with dog boarding, home help, companionship visits, cat visits and dog walks. 🐶🐱🏡

Then there’s keeping my own home clean and tidy (or at least attempting to 😂), staying on top of all the admin, and making sure I’m still making time for family and friends too. ❤️ So unfortunately, social media has been a bit lower down the list!

If you’re still looking for any of my services, please do get in touch. 😊 My calendar is looking a little clearer from September, so I should have some availability for new and existing clients.

Just to give everyone a little heads-up though, I’m starting back at university towards the end of September. 🎓 I don’t have my exact start date yet, but once I know my timetable, it may mean I have to restrict some of my services or availability.

I’ll keep you all posted once I know a bit more!

✨ A little business update ✨

As many of you know, I've been incredibly busy lately (which I'm so grateful for! ❤️). However, I've realised I'm finding it harder to switch off and take some time for myself.

To help me maintain a healthy work-life balance and make sure I can continue giving my best to all of my wonderful clients, I've made the decision that I won't be replying to general messages or enquiries after 7:00pm each evening.

If I'm currently caring for your pet, doing a drop-in visit, or there's something urgent regarding a booking for the following day, I'll of course still be available to message.

Any new enquiries or non-urgent messages received after 7pm will be replied to the following morning.

I'll probably still be doing bits of admin in the background (because let's be honest... running your own business means you never really get a proper day off! 😂), but I'm making a conscious effort to protect a little time for myself too.

Thank you all so much for your understanding and continued support – it really does mean the world to me. ❤️

I finally got around to having some business cards made! 😊

The idea actually came from a lovely gentleman who stopped me while I was out walking my dog. He asked if I was "the lady from Facebook" who does dog walking and pet sitting. Unfortunately, I didn't have anything to give him with my contact details on!

That little encounter prompted me to get some business cards printed, and they're now permanently in my walking bag. So if you ever see me out and about, feel free to stop and say hello—I can actually give you my details now! 🐾

One thing I’ve realised… I find it so much easier to help other people clean and tidy their homes than I do my own! 😂

My stairs didn’t even look that bad before… but I knew they needed doing. After a good vacuum, just look what came up! 😳 A whole lot of hidden dust, dirt and (mostly!) pet hair that you don’t always notice day to day.

It’s a good reminder that sometimes a little bit of extra care can make such a difference to how fresh and comfortable your home feels 🏡✨

Just a little update from me...

I've been away on holiday this past week, so if you've sent me a message and haven't had a reply yet, I'm so sorry! 💛

I'm travelling home today and will be spending tomorrow catching up on all of my messages, so I'll get back to everyone as soon as I can.

🌞 Out of Office 🌞

Just a little note to let everyone know that I'll be taking a short break and will be out of the office from 17th July until 25th July while I recharge and enjoy a well-earned holiday. 🇮🇹✈️

During this time, I may not be able to respond to messages as quickly as usual, but I'll get back to everyone as soon as I can when I return.

Thank you so much for all your continued support – it really does mean the world to my little business. ❤️ I can't wait to come back refreshed and ready to help you and your lovely pets again!

Receiving messages like this honestly means the world to me. ❤️

Knowing that I've helped take a little bit of stress off someone's shoulders and made their home feel like a calmer, more relaxing place is exactly why I love what I do.

Whether it's helping around the house, supporting someone with day-to-day tasks, or caring for their pets, it's the little things that can make the biggest difference.

🌞 You know you're a pet owner when your freezer looks like this during a heatwave! 🤣❄️

Frozen pet-safe treats, chilled tea towels and anything else to help keep our furry friends cool! 🐶🐱

A few simple ways to help your pets stay comfortable in the hot weather:
🐾 Freeze pet-safe treats or wet food.
🐾 Offer plenty of fresh, cool water.
🐾 Use a cool, damp tea towel for them to lie near or on (if they enjoy it).
🐾 Keep walks to the cooler parts of the day.

💡 Bonus tip: Pop a clean tea towel (or even a T-shirt for yourself!) in the freezer for a few minutes. It's a great way to cool down quickly during these hot days!

Who says enrichment has to be expensive? 🐾

Sometimes something as simple as an empty cat food bag (before it heads to the recycling or bin!) can make a fantastic little enrichment activity. Hide a few treats inside, scrunch it up, and let your dog use their nose and brain to work out how to get them. 🐶

On these hot days, mental stimulation is a great way to help tire your dog out without lots of physical exercise. Just a few minutes of sniffing, problem-solving and exploring can be surprisingly tiring!

⚠️ As with any enrichment involving packaging, this should always be supervised. Make sure your dog doesn't get tangled up or start chewing and swallowing the plastic. If your dog is known for eating plastic... maybe give this one a miss! 😂

Sometimes my skills in home help and Pet care come in handy, even if it's not been planned! 😂 Always love helping people out, and if it also means I get extra furry attention and kisses then all the better 🥰

Jo's Home Support & Pet Care helped out with my new carpet stair treads on Thursday, made the job much easier and quicker and kept me calm when I was getting flustered with double sided tape 😂 she also kept the dogs entertained while we went - multi talented doesn't even cover it! Thank you Jo!
