Our residents enjoyed spending time together completing jigsaw puzzles, keeping their minds active while encouraging teamwork, conversation and plenty of smiles.

We also took part in a gentle exercise session using a large therapy ball. These exercises help to improve balance, coordination, flexibility and strength. Most importantly everyone had lots of fun, laughter and the opportunity to socialise.

At our home we believe in supporting both physical amd mental wellbeing through meaningful activities.

A wonderful day of fun, friendship and wellbeing for our residents

Our residents have been enjoying expressing themselves through painting and we've certainly discovered we have some talented artists among us.

We also spent some time completing puzzles and wordsearches, enjoying plenty of conversation, teamwork and laughter along the way.

Activities like these are a lovely way to keep minds active while creating meaningful moments and happy memories together

Plenty of fun and games at the baby shower

13/07/2026

Today we celebrated Megs baby shower. Everyone enjoyed taking part in the baby shower games which included smelling the nappies to guess what the smell was, pin the dummy on the picture, baby bingo and a game where you look at pictures and symbols and say what you see. It kept us all entertained and created lots of fun, laughter and friendly competition.

The highlight was the gender reveal where Meg cut into the cake to reveal the colour of the sponge inside. Everyone burst into cheers as it was revealed Meg is having a baby girl

The afternoon was filled with love, joy and support for Meg as we celebrated the happy news and look forward to the next chapter with her extended family

Thanks to Carrie for making such a beautiful and tasty cake
