✨ Things that drive me absolutely NUTS during an appointment 🫣😂
Because contrary to popular belief, I am not always floating around the Cocoon in a state of zen-like bliss… sometimes I’m internally SCREAMING 🤣
🎧 Alexa - doing her own bloody thing, volume up, volume down, then deciding we need a completely different song. Alexa. Babe. Read. The. Room!
🚜 The builders - starting up machinery, ugh! You’re finally in that deliciously relaxed, floaty state and then …RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
THANKS, LADS!
🪶 The hair - That one tiny, pesky little hair that has somehow attached itself to my hand and REFUSES to leave. I’m trying to give you a blissful massage while secretly having a full-on battle with a strand of human hair 😂
🫣 A newbie client and my sudden inability to function!! - Naturally I want to make the best first impression. Soooo obviously I’ll immediately drop something, walk into the bed, knock something over or forget where I’ve put the thing that was literally in my hand 4 seconds ago. Hi 👋🏻 Welcome. This is professional 🤦🏼♀️
🪵 The floor/bed creaking - OH. MY. GOD. Why does it suddenly sound like I’m working inside a haunted Victorian house?! And once I’ve heard it… I’m terrified to move again.
⏰ When I completely zone out - I’m happily massaging away totally in the flow… and then suddenly realise I have absolutely no idea what time it is, how long I’ve been working on that shoulder or whether I’ve accidentally been massaging the same bit since Tuesday 🫠
🤧 The itch! - When my own nose suddenly starts itching or worse, needs a sneeze! Because obviously I can’t just scratch it when you’re mid-massage. So now I have to mentally negotiate with my own face for the next few minutes 😂
. . But despite all the chaos, you still get melted, relaxed and floated out of the Cocoon 🥰✨ Because apparently I can create a deeply relaxing experience, while simultaneously fighting for my life behind the scenes 🤣🌙
