πŸ’™ Are You Using Your Blue Inhaler Too Often? πŸ’™
Your blue inhaler (Salbutamol) is designed to provide quick relief from asthma symptoms, but needing it frequently can be a sign that your asthma is not well controlled.
⚠️ Using your blue inhaler too often can increase your risk of:
🫁 Asthma attacks
πŸš‘ Emergency hospital admission
πŸ’™ Serious complications from poorly controlled asthma
As a general guide:
πŸ”Ή If you're using your blue inhaler three or more times a week, waking at night with asthma symptoms, or needing more than three inhalers in a year, it's time to review your asthma treatment.
The good news is that better asthma control is often achieved by reviewing your preventer inhaler and making sure your treatment is right for you.
πŸ“ž If you feel you're relying on your blue inhaler more than usual, please contact the surgery to arrange an asthma review. Our clinical team can help ensure your asthma is well managed and reduce your risk of future attacks.
Looking after your asthma today can help you breathe easier tomorrow. πŸ’™

It's now easier than ever to check, record or update your organ donation decision.
Just open the NHS App...

Right now, 8,200+ people are on the transplant waiting list, the highest number on record. And 9 in 10 families say yes to donation when they know it was what their loved one wanted.

A simple tap could make all the difference.

1) Open the NHS App.
2) Tap the banner on the homepage or go to your account settings and take a minute to record your wishes.
3) Sit back and relax.

It could be the most important thing you do today.
