GLP-1 medications can do extraordinary things.

But there's a piece of the puzzle they're not designed to address and most people only discover this when they try to come off the medication, or when the emotional eating continues even with their appetite suppressed.

The psychological layer of weight; the patterns, the emotional habits, the relationship with food that was built long before any injection — requires a different kind of work.

That's what I do.

I work with women at every stage of the GLP-1 journey:

Before — building the psychological foundations so that patterns don't simply reassert themselves the moment the medication stops.

During — processing the emotional complexity that comes with rapid change, and installing a new identity at the level the body is already moving toward.

After — preparing the mind to maintain results independently. Making the change permanent, not medication-dependent.

If any of this speaks to where you are, a free discovery call is a no-obligation conversation just 20 minutes to explore whether this would be the right fit for you.

Some of my best clients came to the first session convinced it probably wouldn't work.

Scepticism and clinical hypnotherapy are entirely compatible. In fact, intelligent scepticism usually produces better outcomes; because the person is paying attention, evaluating the experience critically, and not simply going along with something.

Hypnotherapy doesn't require belief to work. It requires willingness.

Willingness to sit still for a while. To follow a voice. To allow the mind to do something it does naturally every day; drift, focus, absorb, release.

The sceptics who come tend to be analytical, precise, and clear about what they want. Those qualities are assets, not obstacles.

If you've been curious but unconvinced a free consultation call asks nothing more of you than 20 minutes and an open honest conversation.

No commitment. No pressure. No sales.

I've created a free self-hypnosis audio called Return to Yourself.

It's designed for women who feel like they've lost touch with the quieter version of themselves; the one that existed before the years of managing, holding things together, and running on the needs of others.

It's fine for men to use as well.

It's not a weight loss audio.

It's a 20-minute guided experience that creates the kind of deep rest and inner stillness that most of us rarely give ourselves permission to have.

It uses guided imagery and gentle trance language to take you somewhere slower, quieter, and more spacious than daily life usually allows.

A number of clients have told me it's the first time they've genuinely switched off in years.

It's completely free. No 'salesy' email sequence, no catch.

If you'd like a copy, comment AUDIO and I'll send it straight to you. Or DM me if you prefer.

𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝘆.

When people first enquire about working with me on weight management, they sometimes expect a structured eating plan to come home with.

I don't offer those because they're not what creates lasting change.

You already know what balanced eating looks like. Most people do. The problem has never been information.

What I'm working with is that automated behaviour programme that kicks in when stress gets to a point where the brain just needs some relief.

That programme doesn't respond to a food plan.

My job isn't to tell you what to eat. It's to update what your brain automatically reaches for when the conscious, planning part of you isn't in the driving seat.

That's a different kind of work. And in my experience, it's the only kind that produces real and lasting change.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝘀?

This is the question that most people on GLP-1 aren't having yet but will.

Studies are already showing that without psychological support, a significant proportion of people regain most of the weight within a year of stopping GLP-1 medication.

Not because they lack discipline.

Not because the medication failed.

Because the eating pattern that existed before the injection; the one driven by stress, by reward, by emotional habit was never addressed.

The drug managed the symptom.

The cause remained.

When the medication stops, those patterns don't need to relearn anything. They were never gone.

This is the most underserved clinical gap in the weight loss conversation right now. And it's entirely preventable if the mind-level work happens before, during, or as someone is preparing to come off medication.

Whether you're currently on a GLP-1, thinking about stopping, or preparing to transition off the question worth asking is: "What am I putting in place so that the results last?"

If you'd like to talk through what that looks like, I offer a free discovery call — just comment CALL or DM me and I'll get right back to you. No obligation.

"𝗜'𝗺 𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗴𝗼𝘃𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜'𝗺 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴"

This is something I'm hearing more and more.

Someone starts a GLP-1 medication. The appetite drops. The 'food noise' quiets. The first few weeks feel like a revelation.

Then the stressful period at work arrives. Or the difficult evening. Or the anniversary of something hard.
And the hand reaches for food; not from hunger, but from somewhere much older than hunger.

The medication reduced appetite. It didn't update the emotional programme.

This is the gap nobody warned them about.

Emotional eating doesn't originate in the stomach. It originates in the part of the brain that processes stress, comfort, reward, and memory. GLP-1s work on hunger hormones not on the neural pathways that were built long before the medication arrived.

If you're on a weight loss injection and finding that the psychological pull toward food is still there — that's not the medication failing. That's the part of the work the medication was never designed to do.

That part is what I do.

If this is where you are, feel free to reach out. A free discovery call is a good starting point; just comment CALL or DM me and I'll get right back to you. No obligation.

I want to talk about weight loss injections honestly.

GLP-1 medications like Ozempic and Wegovy are genuinely impressive.
They quiet the 'food noise'.
They reduce appetite significantly.
For many people, they produce weight loss that feels almost effortless compared to everything they've tried before.

That's real. And for people with serious health risks related to weight, the clinical case for them is strong.

But the research also shows that these medications don't touch the emotional and psychological reasons why someone overeats in the first place.

Stress eating. Reward eating. The pattern that kicks in at 9pm when the day has been long and the brain reaches for comfort. The relationship with food that was wired in long ago.

Those patterns are completely untouched by that injection.
And when the medication stops whether due to cost, side effects, or personal choice — they're still there.

That's not a flaw in the medication. That's a job that requires a different kind of work.

What works best for you is what matters. If you're on a weight loss medication or considering one and want to address the psychological layer at the same time comment TALK or DM me and I'll get straight back to you.

A client came to me after years of what she described as 'managing' her relationship with food.

She'd done Weight Watchers three times. She'd done a low-carb phase that lasted six months. She'd tried intermittent fasting. She knew exactly what she should be doing — and couldn't consistently make herself do it.

What she hadn't done was look at why.

In our second session, something shifted. We traced the pattern back to where it started — not dramatically, not with a lot of distress, but clearly. There was a logic to it that made complete sense once we found it.

By session three, she told me there was no food noise.
Not willpower. Not white-knuckling. Just... quiet.

Small changes building into large change.

She wasn't broken. The programme just needed updating.
If you recognise that feeling, the knowing-but-not-doing, the pattern that won't quit, feel free to reach out. A free discovery call is a gentle place to start.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

People often come to their first session not quite sure what to expect.

They're a little curious, possibly a little sceptical — which is completely fine. Scepticism and hypnotherapy work very well together.

Here's what a session with me looks like.

We start with conversation. I want to understand what's happening for you, how it shows up in your life, and what you'd like to be different. This part matters — it shapes everything that follows.

From there, depending on what's come up, we'll work with a combination of approaches. These might include guided trance states, language patterns, reframing techniques, and sometimes somatic work — where we notice what the body is holding and work with that directly.

You're in control throughout. Hypnotherapy isn't something that's done to you — it's a collaborative process.

Most people are surprised by how straightforward it feels, and by how much can shift in a single session when we're working at the right level.

If you're curious about what that might look like for you, a free initial consultation call is a good place to start — just message me to arrange a time.
