Sean’s family have asked us to share his funeral
Details.

Sean Lee DaCosta
At rest on Wednesday 15th July 2026, aged 43 years.

The loving son of Sonya and the late Lauriston, dearly loved Stepson of Dan, treasured dad of Iziah, Mari & Zion and a much loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin and partner of Lyndsey. Sean will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends.

Funeral Service will be held at Swan Bank Methodist Church, Burslem on Friday 14th August 2026 at 11am, followed by interment in Carmountside Lawn Cemetery.

Would friends wishing to attend please meet at the church.

Flowers are welcome or donation if preferred would be gratefully accepted for Sickle Cell Society c/o the funeral director.

Angelo’s family have asked us to share his funeral details.

Angelo Di-Piazza

Passed away on Saturday 11th July 2026 at home in Blurton, aged 63 years.

Loving husband of Christine, treasured dad of Alex & partner Sarah, dearly loved stepdad of Gareth and Thomas, cherished grandad, much loved brother of Alf, Josie & Luigi, dear brother-in-law and uncle. Angelo will always be loved and sadly missed by all his family and friends. Rest in peace.

Funeral service to take place at Carmountside Chapel on Friday 21st August 2026 at 11.45am, followed by interment at Carmountside Lawn Cemetery.

Would family and friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the Chapel.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired would be gratefully accepted for The City Dogs Home. A donation box will be available at the chapel.

Tragically passed away on 14th June 2026, aged 31 years.

Much loved Son, Grandson, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Daddy and a friend to many. Much loved and adored local Barber.

Funeral Service and Cremation to be held at Carmountside Crematorium on Wednesday 15th July at 11.30am.

The Cortege will leave Liam's home at 10.45am and will stop in Stoke on London Road, opposite Sainsburys, where 31 balloons
will be released in his memory.
During his final journey his cortege will be accompanied by cars and bikes, paying tribute to his love of them.

Flowers are welcome to be taken with you to the crematorium or taken to his home to travel with Liam.

Mavis Ann Brereton (née Leech)

Peacefully on Sunday 21st June 2026 at home in Fegg Hayes. Mavis, aged 92 years. The devoted wife of the late Arthur 'Archie' Brereton, loving mum of John & David, much loved mother-in-law of the late Lyndsay & Karen, treasured nana, great nana, great-great nana, sister, sister-in-law and aunt who will always be loved and sadly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral Service to take place at St. Michael's and All Angels Church, Chell on Thursday 16th July 2026 at 12.30pm, followed by interment at Burslem Cemetery. Would anyone wishing to attend please meet at the church.
