We have just been notified that community phlebotomy (blood clinics) are closed for the rest of the week due to the temperature causing issues with the samples . Emergency bloods only are been taken at the hospital and the new facility in Hanley .

We are absolutely delighted and judging by the patient feedback so will our patients 😁 Dr Oliver Van Der Linden has successfully completed his GP training and is joining the team as a permanent full time GP

There was an incident at the practice on a Sunday afternoon where 3 local Year 9 lads were trying to force open the locked automatic doors. It was on film and our fantastic neighbours saw everything .
However, nothing was damaged, we live in a close community … so it was easy to identify the 3 lads .
We don’t want to waste police time or risk the lads getting a record … when we are sure it was ‘high jinks’ . But this is a plea to parents as we head into summer .. we know most kids are sensible and a real credit to the area … but just warn them not to get mixed up in this sort of thing .. as next time we will involve the police .

Some Ramipril 2.5mg capsules 💊 may contain 10mg and are been recalled. Please check your pack of Ramipril 2.5mg ( no other strengths) for batch numbers GR175026 & GR155023. These are the only batches impacted. If you have these batch numbers DO NOT CONTACT the Doctors . Contact your chemist who will exchange your capsules 💊 for a new batch. You do not need another prescription. We are working with Werrington Pharmacy and you can call them on 01782 302372 for more information .

It is a privilege to help people through some of the most challenging times. 🙏 Thank YOU… for the kind words , cards and mint humbugs slipped through the reception screen ! We do try and keep appointment times … but sometimes we have to spend longer with a patient … and we do have genuine medical emergencies .. thank you to our patients for their understanding.
