The Health Check van is on the Library / Surgery car park today ! It’s free for anyone aged
40-74. Get your cholesterol, blood sugar and blood pressure checked. The team can also help with stopping smoking and weight loss ( including free access to Slimming world and Weight watchers.
No need to book … just cone along …

Due to a IT upgrade of the hospital pathology lab system we are unable to print blood cards.
Please attend all appointments as planned at community blood clinics ( Bentilee etc).

We really do have the kindest patients .. and we do appreciate all the kind words , cakes & biscuits … and the pack of chocolate limes that is slipped quietly onto the counter when certain patients are in. One lovely couple have a unique way of supporting the good cause of the Air Ambulance … they buy pens and hand them out … that’s why you will see your doctor with an Air Ambulance red pen !

Due to a planned IT upgrade by UHNM we will not have access to the pathology lab system tomorrow … so we won’t be able to print off blood cards. Please do not come to reception tomorrow ( Thurs 30th July ) to pick up blood cards . The system is due back up and running on Friday 31st .
