Please note this vaccine can not be administered at the GP practice.

If you're eligible, you can now get your free MenB vaccine.

MenB can cause serious illnesses like meningitis and septicaemia.

You may be eligible if you are:
✅ 17 to 18 years old and born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008
✅ Under 25 and starting university or moving into residential further education for the first time

Eligible 17 to 18-year-olds born between these dates can book online if they’re registered with a GP in England. Eligible under-25s can get vaccinated at a participating pharmacy – no GP registration is needed.

You'll need 2 doses, given at least 4 weeks apart, for the best protection.

If you need urgent medical advice and are unsure what to do, NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Contact NHS 111 when:

You need medical help fast but it is not a life-threatening emergency

You need advice outside of your GP practice opening hours
You can access NHS 111 online or by telephone.

Your GP practice is the right place for ongoing or non-urgent health concerns and managing long-term conditions.

Walk-In and Urgent Treatment Centres
Walk-in and urgent treatment centres can help with minor injuries and illnesses that require prompt attention.

These services are suitable for:

Minor injuries such as sprains and cuts

A&E and 999
Accident & Emergency departments and emergency services should only be used for serious or life-threatening situations.
