Today is World Su***de Prevention Day.

Su***de can affect every one of us. By raising awareness, reducing the stigma and encouraging action we can help to reduce the instances of su***de around the world. Click here to read more about how we can all help to change the narrative on su***de: https://www.iasp.info/wspd/

At Combined we are committed to ensuring people feel seen, heard, connected, and supported to stay safe. We are putting evidence into action through embedding the NHS England Staying Safe from Su***de approach across our services.

We are moving beyond labels and risk categories to better understand what matters to people, what affects their safety, and how we can work together to provide the right support at the right time.

We are proud to be part of this fantastic piece of co-production, bringing together expertise from health, social care, education, and partner agencies.

Our latest Bridge and Beyond co-production session was a fantastic opportunity to come together and focus on the journey ahead.

Working collaboratively helped us reflect on what good support looks like and reinforced the importance of keeping children and young people's voices at the heart of service development. Every conversation, idea and contribution will help inform the future direction of the service.

Thank you to everyone who attended, especially the young people who gave their time, energy and expertise to support the day.

New partner for the North Staffordshire Wellbeing College!👏

💛We’re really pleased to announce that we’ve partnered with a new community organisation!

𖣘 Windmills is a local charity supporting children and young people who are experiencing the anticipated loss of someone they love. Their specialist nurses provide expert, compassionate support to help young people understand what is happening, ask questions, make sense of a loved one’s illness and create memories they can treasure.

Their work can begin as early as a terminal diagnosis, supporting families through some of the hardest moments they may ever face.

✨We’re looking forward to working together and helping more people in our community find out about the support Windmills can offer.

ℹ️If you’d like to find out more about Windmills, make a referral or help support their work, you can contact them on 01782 433435 or [email protected]

⏩️Please give Windmills a follow, share their work and help us spread the word about the support available to local families. You can view their page by clicking here: Windmills - Preparing Youngsters For The Death Of A Loved One
