Another fantastic Wednesday night kickabout with a brilliant turnout again across our general session pitches and ladies only pitch.

It’s great to see how our ladies only group has continued to develop and how quick the camaraderie has grown between a group that didn’t know each other before attending our sessions.

Like all of our sessions, anyone is welcome to get involved regardless of age, ability or experience we are a community that is about building a place where everyone can belong, be themselves and look after their own mental health whilst also building friendships, connections and raising awareness.

🎙️ WHAT AN INTERVIEW! ❤️🖤

A huge well done to Ian, Pete & Allan, who yesterday took to the airwaves on BBC Radio Stoke to talk about Man Time.

It was a really honest and, at times, very emotional conversation. They spoke about why Man Time exists, their own experiences of seeking support, and why they want to make a difference to men’s mental health in our community.

One phrase that really stood out was “Rufty Tufty”.

Both Ian and Pete described themselves as “rufty tufty” — men who thought they were tough enough to deal with everything themselves, until they realised that sometimes you need a bit of help.

They also talked about our campaign, where we’re putting 10,000 b**r mats into pubs and venues across Stone. Each one has a link to mantime.org.uk and information about support available locally.

Because sometimes that little b**r mat might be the thing that starts a conversation. 💬

Talk. Connect. Support.

If you missed the interview, don’t worry — you can listen again to today’s broadcast and scroll to around 08:10 to hear the lads.

❤️🖤 Well done Ian, Pete & Allan. You did Man Time proud.

What an incredible night!!!

Tonight at our Sunday Kickabout at Powerleague we had a record 60 members playing supportive, friendly, non competitive football.

This rounds off a record week for us too with over our 4 sessions this week we have had 131 people take part!!

We are absolutely blown away by the numbers of attendees and extremely proud of how organically Headspace FC has grown from a small group of 8 friends to a genuine supportive community of over 320 in less than 18months!

Although the numbers of people in our community are amazing it also puts in to perspective - especially during su***de awareness month - that more needs to be out there for people to access support for the for mental health in different ways and that not one size fits all!

If anyone has seen our posts and wonders what we are about or would like to come along please feel free to message us.

World Su***de Prevention Day 💛🖤

World Su***de Prevention Day is a reminder that every conversation, every check-in and every act of support can make a difference.

At Headspace FC CIC, we see every week how football can bring people together — giving people a reason to get out, connect with others, talk and feel part of something.

But support doesn’t stop at the final whistle.
⚽ Check in – ask someone how they’re really doing
💬 Reach out – let someone know they’re not alone
🫱 Interrupt – if you’re worried about someone, say something
💛 Support – listen, be there and help them find the right support

We’re grateful for the organisations and groups who provide support, including Man Time, North Staffs Mind and Samaritans.

On World Su***de Prevention Day, let’s remind each other that it’s okay to talk, it’s okay to ask for help, and nobody should feel they have to face things alone.

Check in. Reach out. Be there.

A fantastic turnout tonight for our Wednesday night session at St Peter’s in Fenton.

51 people of different ages and abilities came together across 3 pitches, taking time out of the house, meeting new people, enjoying football and supporting their mental health.

Tonight also saw a record turnout for our ladies’ session, with 15 ladies attending and getting involved.

It’s brilliant to see our community continuing to grow week after week, while the support, friendships and connections continue to develop.

More than just a game — it’s a community.

Great news that Man Time are now a registered charity meaning that the amazing work they are doing to support mental health can reach more people in need.

🎉 WE’RE OFFICIALLY A CHARITY! 🎉

We’re incredibly proud to share some very special news…

Man Time is now officially a registered charity. 🧡🖤

Today we received confirmation that Man Time has been registered with the Charity Commission:

Registered Charity Number: 1219553

This is a huge milestone for Man Time — but more importantly, it’s another step towards our goal of making sure no man feels he has to face things alone.

What started with a simple idea — creating a safe, welcoming space where men can meet, talk, listen and support one another — has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of.

Becoming a registered charity gives us a stronger foundation to build on, helping us to:

🧡 Reach more men who need support
🖤 Develop and expand our groups and activities
🧡 Work with more organisations and communities
🖤 Apply for funding and grants to grow what we do
🧡 Continue building a community where men can simply be themselves

We couldn’t have got here without the amazing people who have supported Man Time along the way — our members, volunteers, trustees, supporters, partner organisations and everyone who has shared what we do.

This is only the beginning.

Here’s to the next chapter of Man Time. 🧡🖤

Men supporting men. No judgement. No pressure. Just Man Time.

What an amazing, inspiring and emotional night at the BBC Stoke & Staffordshire make a difference awards. We’ve met loads of amazing people, heard inspiring stories and made great connections.

We may not have won our category however we are extremely proud to be a runner up and be nominated for the award. However we have won with the amazing community that has been built at Headspace FC and that’s keeps growing and supporting so many people across the area raising awareness and support for mental health.

Congratulations to the amazing group Water Warriors that won the active category award - the work you do is life changing and we are privileged to even be in the same category as you.

Well done to all those involved tonight - you are all truly amazing!
