FLU: NEW SEASON - NEW WAY OF BOOKING!

Messages are being sent to all our over 65 year old patients later today with a self-book link to enable you to choose an appointment time to suit for your flu jab.

Please keep an eye on your devices for your message and we look forward to seeing you!

Housebound patients: you will be contacted separately nearer the time (in October) to arrange visits.

At the end of this month the NHS Mobile Breast Screening Unit will be coming to Stokenchurch Medical Centre and is expected to remain here for at least 2 months. It will be located at the far end of our car park. If you are eligible (female and aged 50yrs+) and receive an appointment letter (some of you may have received appointment letters already), please ensure that you attend your appointment.

Breast screening saves 1,300 lives every year so please do attend your appointment.

Unfortunately due to annual leave and staff sickness in our admin team we are extremely short staffed this morning and tomorrow so there may be delays in our phones being answered. Please bear with our reception team and we hope to resume normal service again next week. Please remember to use the online triage form on our website at the 'Contact Us' section as this will go directly to the clinical team for triage.

We are pleased to advise that our network issues have now been resolved and we are operating as normal again today.

IMPORTANT UPDATE (11am)

Our IT Support are still working on restoring our systems. We are now semi-operational BUT only have limited capacity at the moment. Please bear with us while the fault is fixed.

If you have an issue that can wait until tomorrow we would be grateful if you wait until then to contact us.

Please remember for anything urgent 111 will be able to help you and pharmacies can help with a lot of minor illnesses.

URGENT MESSAGE!

Unfortunately our entire system is down this morning - computers and telephones. We have notified our IT Support who are currently working with high priority to resolve this issue.

Please contact 111 if you need assistance this morning or a local pharmacy. The NHS website also hold a lot of self care information for minor illness.

Please do NOT attend the surgery until further notice as we are unable to access any information at the moment.

We will update via social media as soon as this is resolved & would ask you to share this information with friends and family who are also patients here and do not have access to our social media streams.
