We’re excited to be returning to Stone Carnival on Saturday 6th June! This year, we’ll once again be offering complimentary blood pressure checks and body composition readings at our stand.

We’re also delighted to be joined by Stone Pharmacy, who will be providing the Pharmacy First service on the day — a great chance to get expert advice and treatment for a range of common conditions such as:-

🔹Acute middle ear infections (ages 1-17)
🔹Impetigo (1 year and over)
🔹Infected insect bites (1 year and over)
🔹Shingles (18 years and over)
🔹Sinusitis (12 years and over)
🔹Sore throat (5 years and over)

It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet the teams, ask questions, and learn more about your health in a relaxed, friendly setting.

We’ll have goody bags and plenty of freebies, so do come along and say hello. The carnival is set to be full of brilliant activities throughout the day, and we’re really looking forward to being part of it again.

We’re excited to announce the launch of our dedicated Men’s Health Clinic, led by Dr Shazan Chughtai, an experienced GP with a special interest in men’s wellbeing.

This new service is designed to give men a comfortable, confidential space to discuss concerns that often go unspoken — from hormonal health and fatigue to prostate checks, sexual health, mental wellbeing, and preventative care.

Dr Chughtai brings a warm, understanding approach and a passion for helping men take control of their long‑term health.

🚐 A mobile NHS Health Check van is set to visit Stone on two dates this spring.

Free checks will be available at Stone Leisure Centre on Monday 27 April and Thursday 28 May, from 8.30am to 3.30pm.

The free NHS Health Check is aimed at eligible adults aged 40 to 74, usually those who have not had one in the past five years and who do not already have certain diagnosed conditions.

Walk ins and appointments are available by texting HEART to 60777 or calling 0333 005 0095.
