It’s been wonderful making the most of our new garden extension since it opened last week! 🪴 🌼 We’ve celebrated two birthdays outdoors, 🥳🎂enjoyed breakfast in the sunshine, 🥐☕️welcomed visits from the nursery and some four-legged friends, 🐶 and, most importantly, spent quality time together making the most of the beautiful weather. ☀️Here’s to many more happy times in our new outdoor space! ☀️💚

The gents enjoyed Friday afternoon at the Marine Hotel bar, sharing a couple of pints and soaking up the atmosphere. There was no rush, no agenda – just a relaxed afternoon spent together, enjoying each other’s company in a place that felt familiar and welcoming.

We didn’t waste any time trying out the new garden extension. 🪴🏡. Breakfast was served alfresco this morning, ☕️ 🥐 and there was a lovely relaxed atmosphere as we chatted away in the sunshine. We got some hellos from passers by, and had a lovely visit from Babes In The Wood - Stonehaven. 🧒🏼👦🏻. We think it’s safe to say the garden has had the perfect welcome. 🤗 ☀️

🩷💚💜 Celebrating Friendship Day (a day early!) 💛 🧡❤️ We spent time chatting about what friendship means to each of us, sharing memories and reflecting on the special friendships we’ve made over the years. 👯‍♀️👯

The ladies got creative making and exchanging beautiful friendship bracelets as a special reminder of the connections they share. And, of course, no Friendship Day celebration would be complete without man’s best friend! 🐶 Sprocket came along to join the fun, enjoying lots of belly rubs and giving plenty of cuddles in return. It was a wonderful day celebrating friendship, kindness and companionship. 🫶🏻

A very big thank you to Rotary Club of Stonehaven for providing and serving a wonderful Strawberry Tea to all the residents this afternoon. 🍓 The strawberries were delicious and went down a treat. A lovely way to spend a sunny afternoon after what was a driech morning. 🌧️ ☀️

What a blast of lively entertainment from the Sing and Smile Duo yesterday afternoon! 🎶🎤

They had the room filled with upbeat music, plenty of dancing and a fantastic atmosphere. Residents got involved with the percussion instruments, sang along and took to the dance floor — with some showing that they definitely haven’t lost their moves! 💃🕺🥁
