Today Judith enjoyed a walk along the canal path after breakfast ☺️ She enjoyed watching the ducks 🦆 and morehens swimming and spotted lots of small fish 🐟 🐟 in the water. It’s nice having some fresh air and enjoying conservations when out with our lovely residents and they always say how much they enjoy getting a bit of sunshine 🌞 and fresh air ☺️

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming The Ukuladies back to Oldbury House 🏡 for another afternoon of music 🎶 and singing 🎤. It was a wonderful afternoon where the residents joined together to enjoy the music. Some of our lovely residents enjoyed dancing 💃 🕺along while others joined in by clapping 👏 and singing 🎶. The Ukuladies gave a wonderful performance and encouraged everyone to get involved 🥰 Music is a wonderful thing that brings so much happiness to everyone 🎤🎶 and helps to keep them active and engaged. A big Thankyou to the wonderful ladies for entertaining us all once again ❤️🎶🎤

Today the residents enjoyed joining together for a Church ⛪️ service that was led by Elizabeth. Everyone listened to the service which focused on the story about 5 loaves of bread 🍞 and 2 fishes 🐟 🐟 feeding thousands of people. The residents happily offered their thoughts on the service and Elizabeth encouraged everyone to join in with the singing 🎶 of Hymns 🎶 and saying prayers 🙏.
A big Thankyou to Elizabeth for another lovely service ⛪️ and some tasty cakes 🧁 that were decorated with little fishes 🐟 😊

Yesterday we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming T back to Oldbury House 🏡 for an afternoon of musical 🎤 🎸🎶 entertainment and what a wonderful afternoon it was ☺️ The atmosphere was amazing 🤩 and everyone got involved by singing 🎶 and dancing 💃 🕺💃🕺along to the music 🎶 🎸 Earl interacted with the residents and staff and the atmosphere was fantastic 🎶🎸 Such a great selection of songs and everyone enjoyed the afternoon so much . A big Thankyou to Earl and all the wonderful staff for making the afternoon fun for all of our lovely residents 🥰 and also to our surprise visitors Kenny and Dolly for joining in with the fun 🤩 ❤️
It was such a great afternoon and we have invited Earl back to entertain us on August 12th.. everyone is welcome 🤗

Yesterday two of our lovely ladies enjoyed a walk to Starbucks coffee ☕️ shop with the Activities team 🙍‍♀️👱‍♀️
Barbara and Beryl chose a Latte 🧋🧋each and also enjoyed a fresh cream Chocolate eclair 🧁 😋
Both ladies said how nice it was to go out for a coffee and a chat 💬and it’s always so nice to see residents enjoying each other’s company and sharing conversations together 🥰

Today we welcomed Move and smile Alice back to Oldbury House 🏡 for another fun armchair exercise session. The residents always have so much fun with Alice during these sessions and the bond that they all share is just heartwarming 🥰 It’s nice to see the residents encouraging each other during these sessions and the competitive spirit always comes through 🙌☺️
A big Thankyou to Alice for another wonderful session 👍🥰
