Yoghurt and milkshake time in Ibstock certainly got everyone in the mood for a chat! 🥛😊

Conversations covered a wide range of topics, from extreme weather and traditional black-leaded fireplaces to the people who made a lasting impression on us during our childhood. It was a lovely afternoon of reminiscing, sharing stories, and enjoying each other's company. 💜

Our residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon getting creative by making beautiful paper roses. 🌹😊

A special thank you to Joan, who helped get the session underway by creating a colourful selection of petals for everyone to use.

Over in Ibstock, Miranda, Josie, Angella, Una, Molly, Muriel, Barbara, Margaret, and Pat all had a wonderful time crafting their own unique creations. It was a relaxing afternoon filled with creativity, conversation, and plenty of colourful results. 💜

We've certainly got a busy month ahead of us... and we can't wait! 💛

Our flower arranging session in Ibstock was a lovely way to spend the day! 💐😊

Residents enjoyed getting creative with a beautiful selection of flowers, creating their own colourful arrangements while chatting and spending time together.

What a lovely few days we've had here at the home! 💜

Peter enjoyed spending some quality time catching up with his sister, while Sue, as always, was happy to stop for a friendly chat.

Pam spent some time relaxing with one of her favourite pastimes - a jigsaw puzzle - with Mary keen to join her and completing her own puzzle. 🧩

Elsewhere, Susan and Mary enjoyed a lovely conversation about flowers, while Fred and Gordon reminisced about the dogs they have loved over the years.

And sometimes, taking a metaphorical walk down memory lane, can really brighten your day, as Hilda discovered during a conversation about her childhood and the board games she used to like to play as a young girl.

It's these everyday moments of friendship, conversation, and shared memories that make each day so special. 😊
