We are really shocked at the situation in our local community

If you have been displaced by the current fires then our doors are open if you need somewhere to shelter whilst you make arrangements for somewhere to stay the night.

We have refreshments and internet access and support available until 10pm.

Please call Emily if you need help finding us on 07593 437908

Residents enjoyed a relaxing yoga session with some gentle body tapping, using rhythmic movements to help awaken the body, release tension, and bring awareness to how we are feeling.

It was a lovely opportunity to slow down, focus on breathing, and connect with the body in a simple and accessible way.

Sometimes wellness is all about taking a few moments to pause, breathe, move… and reset. 💛

✨ A warm welcome to our newest Voluntary BID Member – Parkfield Grange Luxury Care Home! 💙

We're delighted to welcome Parkfield Grange to the Stourbridge BID community!

Located just outside the BID area, the team at Parkfield Grange recognised the positive impact the BID is making across Stourbridge and wanted to be part of supporting local businesses, community initiatives and town centre improvements.

Part of the Cinnamon Care Collection, Parkfield Grange provides exceptional residential, dementia, respite, convalescent and nurse-supported care in a beautiful, purpose-built home. With a strong focus on wellbeing and community, they're passionate about building meaningful connections with local people, organisations and businesses.

A huge thank you to Emily and the entire team for your support. We look forward to working together to make Stourbridge an even better place to live, work and visit. 💙

Please join us in giving them a warm Stourbridge BID welcome! 👏

Residents had a fantastic time welcoming Rafael, a talented mariachi performer, to the Rosemary community for a wonderful morning of music, culture and connection.

There was plenty of singing along, dancing, and even the chance to play instruments, while Rafael shared fascinating insights into Mexican culture and Spanish-speaking countries. 💃🎺

Experiences like this bring the world to our residents, encouraging curiosity, conversation and learning while creating joyful shared moments together.

Music, culture and a little bit of dancing… the perfect combination for a memorable day! 💛

Sometimes the best part of an activity… is what happens afterwards.

Two of our gentlemen enjoyed a relaxed chat following an activity, sharing stories, experiences, and a few laughs as they got to know each other better.

These simple moments of conversation can be just as meaningful as the activities themselves. They create opportunities for residents to build friendships, discover shared interests, and feel connected to the people around them.

Because meaningful engagement isn’t always about what we do… sometimes it’s about who we connect with along the way.

Thanks to the beautiful blooms kindly gifted by Freddie’s Flowers, residents enjoyed a lovely flower arranging session, creating a colourful display to brighten any area.

There was creativity, conversation, and a wonderful sense of achievement as the arrangement took shape, with every resident adding their own personal touch.

Flower arranging is a calming and purposeful activity that encourages creativity, supports dexterity, and brings people together through shared enjoyment. Best of all, the finished displays can be admired by everyone throughout the home.

The Parkfield Page Turners Book Club came together to discuss the first half of The Couple Next Door, sharing their thoughts, theories, and plenty of predictions about what might happen next!

There was lively discussion, different perspectives, and lots of laughter as everyone compared their favourite characters, debated the twists so far, and wondered what surprises the second half of the story might hold.

Book clubs offer so much more than the joy of reading. They encourage conversation, stimulate memory and critical thinking, build confidence, and create meaningful friendships through shared experiences.

Many hands help our garden bloom. 🌿🌸

Our Gardening Club has been busy making the most of the warmer, overcast weather, spending time pruning, caring for our flower beds, and checking on the progress of our Cinnamon in Bloom entries.

There was teamwork, conversation, and plenty of pride as residents worked together to keep our outdoor spaces looking their very best.
