Today's sand play invitation sparked lots of curiosity and exploration! ☀️🏖️
We used a variety of tools including moulds, sieves and an ice cube tray, the children enjoyed scooping, filling, sifting and creating. Sand play is a wonderful sensory experience that encourages children to investigate different textures while strengthening their fine motor skills and hand muscles.

As they experimented with moving sand between containers, they were also developing early mathematical concepts such as measuring, comparing quantities and understanding cause and effect. The open-ended nature of sand play allows children to use their imagination, make their own discoveries and learn through hands-on experiences. 🌟

Story time sessions for pre schoolers 📚🐛

We are very excited to announce that we are partnering up with Dudley Libraries (GLL) for Pre School Story Time sessions at the Cone!!

Each story is usually less than 20 minutes long, hopefully just long enough to keep your toddler, pre-schoolers and little ones engaged, followed by a small craft.

Sessions will run fortnightly on a Tuesday at 10.30am and will last for approximately 45 minutes.

Come along and bring your little ones to join in the fun! 📚

We've been getting messy and loving it!

Connecting to nature is so calming for us all and we've had great fun making mud and stone pies as well as counting, measuring, chating about capacity and mini beasts 🐞🕷🪳

I am thrilled to announce that, this Christmas, I’m expecting a super special gift under the tree… I’m afraid I won’t be singing “Twinkle Twinkle Christmas Star” with your gorgeous little Glowbugs because I’ll be welcoming a brand new bug of my own! (I might see you in class with him though hehe).

Whilst I’m on maternity leave- swapping parachutes for nappies and bubbles for burp cloths- I’m looking for someone very special to step in and lead the Baby Glowbugs fun…

I’m on the hunt for:
🥰 A confident, warm, and bubbly person
🎶 Someone who loves music, babies, and a good boogie
✨ Someone who isn’t afraid to sing, dance, and embrace a little (or a lot of) sparkle!
You don’t need to be a professional performer, just someone with a big heart, great energy and the ability to make little ones and their grown-ups feel welcome, happy and part of something magical (whilst also having a car big enough to cart around equipment 🚗👍😂).

🗓 I need cover from mid November for at least 9 months (but ideally a little longer) with the possibility of longer term opportunities after if you wanted. Full training will be provided along with a very sparkly Glowbugs kit and the benefit of flexible hours in between school runs!
